Great run today. Did it in 65 mins (was aiming for <60, oh well). Way cooler/scenic compared to klang last week but the hills were killer siot......I got a bit excited and sped in the beginning which resulted in me cursing myself after the 2nd hill or so. Be interesting to see the timing chip results.

Oh, went to klcc after the run, and Brooks@Isetan was at 30% off, so bought me a pair of Brooks Glycerine (lime green). Time to retire my 2 year old Asics GT2110. I started my love for running with this shoe. We had good times together. smile.gif

yeah collected it from 1utama today...as its based on overseas sizes....my suggestion is to pick a size below your usual size. i usually take XL for my running vest and found that L for the terry fox t-shirt to be just nice.

although i find that last year punya design gempak lagi la....but this year is not that bad, colourful

I started to train myself for the stanChart run in June. Normally I just run for 30 minutes on treadmill, but today I run for 52 minutes. The total distance that I had completed is 7.45KM... Then I feel quite tired.

I started worry whether I can finish 10KM with the time limit of 90minutes... All the experts here, what do you think?

you're doing great so far. you still have heaps of time to prepare for the 10k, the most important thing now is to keep the training consistent at least 3 days a week. Keep on gradually increasing your run time and try to put in a long run (>60 mins) on the weekends.

Also, you might want to get out of the gym and run outdoors as its a different beast altogether. keep up with it!

I felt like I was fighting a fire at the bomba run this morning......probably due to lack to training and recovering from a cold I had two weeks ago, I have no idea how I'm gonna face the NB 15K next week. Plus, it was bloody hot today. Love the tshirt though!

On another note, the Siemens Run is open for registration, you can do it online at http://www.hooha.asia. Better hurry up cause running vest only given to first 2000 participants. smile.gif
