Hehe... yeah.. I'm actually helping Yong out, but I don't market his triathlon stuff here in this forum cos here mainly runners... that's why I ask whether anybody interested in Newton running shoes... Anyway, if anybody wants to get triathlon stuff can look for me too...  smile.gif

hi, why not try go direct Quick-Sport.com for the tri stuffs. Normally they ship out the goods once payment is made. But one thing bad is they only accepts MayBank lah... blink.gif my previous purchase have to ask my fella kaki to pay for me via their MBB... because i don't really like "Tiger" brows.gif

running shoes are generally very comfy for walking or for daily wear.  u have hit it right.  most important is ur budget, how much u willing to pay. a reasonably price running shoes will be around rm200 - rm250.  unless u can  get some old models like mfg in yr 2005/2006 which i believed can be cheaper.

hi, anyone tried PI shoe? been seeing these shoes often in the Runner's World Mag... looks cool. Anyone?

i bought stuff from Yong through quick-sport twice already and he's very fast. :-) once he even personally dropped stuff in my office. but they should update their stuff more often la.. Newton shoes looks tempting though. :-)

Newton.... anyone tried before in Malaysia? in the u-tube video, it sounds pretty logic also when the Mat Salleh running bare foot. where the fore-foot suppose to be land first instead of heel. hmmm... rclxub.gif Should read more review first.. brows.gif very pricey... but it looks cool though... rclxms.gif

Ultimate Directions, CamelBak..... hmm.gif something like that. icon_rolleyes.gif

toto gave me a recomendation of nike and adidas as they maybe cheaper? any idea guys?
*
haha.. i just found the terms for these gadgets => "Hydration System", actually these brands got variety of model/belts, they have the simplest version where just hold nicely with 1 pack of gel + key & the most important thing... some CASH.. haha....

there are those very complicated one like Rambo carrying the extra armo, like those belts with many bottles around.

I'm using the UD marathon belt, and also have a gel flask clip on... both give me no problems... UD marathon belt can hold keys, money, IC, plasters, lotion packets, (gels also)... then with the clip on gel flask, i can pour 3-4 gel packets inside for easy refueling... can take gel every 15-20 mins without needing to finish a whole packet at once... its suitable if you go for long distance running... this setup i mean..
*
wah! shocking.gif you filled the marathon belt with gels, keys, IC (WHY IC), plaster & etc? blink.gif will it bounce when running with it? hmm.gif it will be very frustrating when running that way... mad.gif

but i think this is essential, normally the running shorts dun come with pockets vmad.gif maybe should consider to get a Marathon Belt hmm.gif

eh... from the Quick-Sport catalog, it says the belt has the reflective stripe right? hmm.gif will it last after few wash? since you are using it, can give some advise icon_rolleyes.gif ... TQTQTQ notworthy.gif

are you willing to pay RM500+ for a pair of NEWTON?
*
shocking.gif that's pricey!!!

well.. if the shoe does claim what it is stated on the Newton website/Video... those running approach & articles are quite convincing....

For a pair of so "call" high-end from various brands available in the market, it may cost easily Rm300-400++.... i guess it is worth investing one.. that's my personal opinion lah... icon_rolleyes.gif

whatever it is.. pricing could be 1 issue, ultimately, legs are our precious than all these shoes... i need a good quality shoe to protect them flex.gif

what kind of stuff are you looking for? I bought an Ultimate Direction hydration system from Quick-Sport.com (I think they are in KL) during their NB15K booth sales at lake garden. it is quite useful icon_idea.gif no need to queue for the drink at the water station wink.gif rclxms.gif
