devil/triple/cube/navil/marvin/etc. - let say, we are doing normal 10k run, do we land on the heel OR land flat on the shoe?
what is the lifespan of your shoe? I read in phoenix blog that he only decided to retire his Nike sumthing after like close to 800km.....
hey tengster, it doesnt matter the distance, its recommended that you land on your forefoot rather than your heel, as the impact on your knees will be less. here's link from where you can refer to, its from Newton Shoes but its insightful nonetheless...
http://www.newtonrunning.com/run-better/optimal-running-formI personally try to land on my forefoot but its easier said than done

i land on my midsole between the forefoot and heel fyi

not so good luck in bidor run..

stayed at the hall for the night, really don't have a good sleep coz of the hard surface.. before run stomach stirring, wanted to go toilet but the queue is longer than waiting bus

so no choice had to run in deep sh*t.. literally..
after ran, get the medal and cert and gift pack, but when put aside on the corridor and go car took something, my medal and cert and gift pack gone

damm my first 21km and no medal.. sien
the only good news is that managed to clock about 2hr10min in the run, beyond my expectation, given my target about 2hr30min and lack of sleep... and given the damm hilly route going towards the waterfall...
wow! congrats on your run Navi! its indeed an experience though...always worry of crapping during any runs

thats a good time for your first 21km! any other half's lined up?

sorry i am quite new to running, can i actually ask how do you breath when you run? through your mouth or nose or both? both on exhaling and inhaling.
I am not sure if it is posted before, just started to run recently
it depends on whats your comfort level, i normally inhale and exhale thru' my mouth i know a few who does it thru' the nose, but yeah i feel that tend to inhale more and and make less effort when i inhale and exhale thru my mouth, and dont worry much once you start running more frequently you'll know which one is more easier
