its was good to meet up with all of you this morning. so we all know the reverse route of Double Hill is a lot easier to run but can be bad for the knees especially those long stretch of downhill. for those running tmrw, all der best and do enjoy the run. seeya.

Guys,
I managed to finish the race at 51:21 according to my watch. Position no. 202. Nothing if compare with you all as you guys are more prepared and faster. Anyway, I've enjoyed the race so much. Yesterday simulation run with some of you really help me. Thanks guys. Looking forward to run again with you all. |

Riq: Congratz on a strong run. You mentioned that you find it tough to run a sub-50 10K run. There, you are almost there. Keep it up!
sfax: You did great. No shame in your results. You will definetely be better as time passes. I myself did 00:49:28, position 130. The Saucony Fastwitch 3 was just simply AWESOME! Can't go slow with it. If it wasn't for the traffic at the start, I believe I would have broken my PB. But that's not something I want to bother about now. Most important is that I know. Anyway guys, keep the results coming! I will send it to Pacesetters to be published. This post has been edited by phoenix: Oct 19 2008, 11:55 AM |

met briefly with phoenix and ccube after the race...wah,u guys are very young..!!
BTW,my time is 55m 39sec from my watch..don't know about the chip timing. I wonder if they give medals base on timing or position? i think it is position...then those at the back at the beginning of the race might be slightly disadvantage as there was congestion during the first few hundred meters.. |

QUOTE(phoenix @ Oct 17 2008, 04:15 PM) Thanks Riq. We will start running at 6am sharp. But if you somehow overslept or late and scared getting lost, you can choose to run around Lake Gardens instead then. There will be plenty of weekeenders there. Besides, Runners Malaysia beginners program starts at 7.30am and they run around Lake Gardens too. harlo all..went again for the "begginers" run on sat morning.. this time i was at the Bkt Aman carpark before 7.30am..saw a group ppl registering for the Lunar shoes...didn't look like anyone frm last week waited till 7.30am but no1 runnning well..decided to join dem anyway..this group ran at a slower pace..had less ppl..and less km..instead of passing the birdpark entrance..did a left turn and then bk to carpark after a series of twisty roads and dwn hill.. o btw congrats all!! i do hope me can join u guys nxt time *did i run with the correct group? *did i get their starting point correct? dey start at Bkt Aman ya?
