New Macross TV Anime Project Announced With Singer Auditions







Macross Delta is the 1st new Macross TV anime project since Frontier in 2007



The official website http://macross.jp/audition/ for the Macross franchise unveiled a new TV anime project tentatively titled Macross Delta (Delta written as Δ) on Sunday.

The project will scout a new singing voice to provide the vocals for a character in the anime with an audition, which can be applied to beginning on December 1. More information about the audition will be unveiled in November. The website features the quote, "The new singing diva who can sway the galaxy of 2067 is you!"

The last television anime in the Macross franchise was Macross Frontier in 2007. The television anime was followed by two feature films. Megumi Nakajima debuted as a voice actress and vocalist after winning the audition to provide the voice for Macross Frontier heroine Ranka Lee.

seem like kingdom of wind started war using a kind of fold song to awake Var syndrome on zentradi going crazy for wars

eh so it seems like i was the only one who think that macross delta preview was good? lol

so far its been boring... not sure if the story will pick up later.

Watch it yourself first. My advise is watch with an open mind, it is not going to be a copy of previous series, however if you notice carefully, the elements of Macross are all there, just evolved according to the times and trends.

and thats why a lot of people (especially the old timer/hardcore fans) hate it?

surprisingly, i hated the singing aspects of macross frontier back then... this time around, for some odd reason, it didnt bothered me as much...
maybe because i don't give a fuck as much as i did back then

just watched the episode 0.89 really enjoy watching it ... quite fun for me ahaha
