QUOTE(D417137 @ May 29 2010, 02:07 AM) Hi guys. Newbie to Macross here. Watched 5 episodes of Frontier and it is not bad but I want to now just what is "deculture"? Its a form of exclamation by the Zentraedi. Something like "HOLY SHI-" kinda thing.I see the word thrown around so often. Any sort of relation to Proto Culture from those Macross movies I saw on Astro? + Support. Watching EVA in the cinema was great and at least you can contribute(?) somewhat to the industry. Because when Zentraedi first encounter humans, they were very shocked with their "culture" (example: kissing, dancing etc) and said "DE CULTURE!!" in a very shocked tone. |

QUOTE(RangerKarl @ Oct 9 2010, 03:50 AM) Takder la. No money.Just watched Macross Frontier Itsuwari No Utahime. Its mostly new animation but by GOD the pacing is horrible. Even DYRL? wasn't this slow. It is basically goin through the same basic plot as the TV series but with little things changed here and there to speed up the story. Despite that it still feels slow and I felt they didn't manage to put sheryl and ranka on the same screen as much as they should for the "Triangler" effect. Sheryl goes flirting around Alto most of the time while Ranka does her odd jobs as an up and coming idol with barely enough time for Alto. Don't know about you guys but I feel japanese movies in general (anime or live action) have pacing issues. |

It would probably be better if they threw in more Vajra attacks in between or something. Even the "drama" was abit half baked.
