May i ask what kingsblood is used for ? WHy did the price spike so much ? WHich is why i am curious what people are using it for.

What are so special about scrolls ? (PS: i never buy any potions or consumables. I only buy mats which is used directly for my crafting in armor black smith).

Hm.... stick to wow With the new improvements i seriously feel wow has regained its glory.

You guys need to unlearn the old wow system and relearn the new.

Same for the retribution pally stigma that retribution aren't as good as good a dps class as others. In new patch this has changed. I ran the mecha dungeon in zanga marsh and totaly owned in dps. Mana regen doesn't seem to be an issue either i feel.

Ok these are my pally observations.



As hume i get the racial trait to break free from movement/fear debuffs.

For maxing out mining i gained 200 health extra !

For paladin retribution, we got the storm ultimate retribution spell. I would use Seal of command which lasts 2 minutes, spam storm, and spam crusader strike, spam judge, spam judge of wisdom, and spam consecrate. Time HOJ to stun, use repentance stun as a backup. Bubble in an emergency to quick heal then resume dps. Bop as a secondary emergency but beware of spell casters.


Ok this is what i noticed. The spell that gives you wings has no cool down effect for when you can cast divine shield, vice versa. But of course you will be hitting slower behind the shield which it isn't really recommended to do. However the benefit is, you don't have to worry about using that spell, as you will still be able to use divine shield for emergencies. Before, retribution pallies had to be careful whether to use it or not, especially for PVP.

Repentance before patch was a 7 second ranged stun. Now it is a 1 minute ranged stun in PVE. I haven't yet tested in PVP so not sure what the stun time is; but with players running around with stun dispel trinkets or racials, it may not be as effective. I can't quite remember the cool time for it

Seals and JUDGEMENTS are a big improvement for Paladins. When you cast a seal, it lasts for around 2 minutes which is very good as it doesn't feel as if you need to reseal all the time.

When you judge, you don't have to recast the seal immediately, as the seal will still be active until it's timer runs out. So you can continue to judge as long as the seal timer is still active without wasting timing recasting seals, unless of course you wish to switch to a different seal.

Judge wisdom is awesome. I can feel that the mana regen is good, for me anyway. When i spam spells, i feel that i regain most of the mana i had used. Before this was only used if you were a 1hander, but now it's even feasible for a 2hder as well. I rarely need to use water when i was grinding the quel isles.

Divine Storm has further increased our AOE damage arsenal. It not only does aoe, but it also heals us and 3 other party members based on a percentage of how much DPS we dish out. SO for AOE we now have consecrate, retribution and Divine Storm. I am confident enough now to try and attempt to kill 50 whelps in 15 seconds to earn the leeroy title. Don't forget that eye for an eye reflects melee damage and ranged damage done against us. This further improves our damage as it works in conjunction with retribution aura !


The only down side from all this is now i have a lot more buttons to manage, to fit on my action bar. I may need to rescale my action bar and add in a third row I am by the way using Bartender 3.

The patch seems to have broken my Holy Hope mod. I really hope someone picks it up and adds the new spells. This would really save up on action bar space.



My current Paladin retribution build is good, but i am missing a few good things such as

1. vindication

2. pursuit of justice ( i realise this is important for movement and mount speed that would really help us since we lack ranged arsenal of spells ).

and a few others which i can't quite remember at this time.




In summary, pallies are kicking ass in pvp and PVE with the big talent remodeling Despite all the cool upgrades for retribution, i was seriously deciding going protection, but i just don't have enough good tanking gear. My shield for example is not a tanker shield. So i rather wait till i hit exalted with shattered sun before i reconsider again :]

Pallys are immune to nerfs. We can bubble hearth !!! keke.

Anyway i didn't read much about other class changes but i was impressed with Warlock demon metamorphosis. In that spec can warlocks melee ? Or what exactly do they do any ideas ?

it would be kewl to see a spell caster such as warlock able to talent spec in a way that they can switch to a melee dpser form

They need to give paladins 1 shot ranged weapons. Say like an AWP from counters strike *pew pew <3
