if ya, thn urs is ok oledi.. as long as dun OC HT too much thn will be gud enuf.. edit: default HT is 1800, so try to stick to the default HT, OC HT will dun hv any improvement in performance. lower ur HTlink multipier, lower thn 1800 oso not a prob.. good luck.. QUOTE(sysh @ Nov 1 2008, 09:21 PM) Yep. Default HT is 1800. I guess when I OC the Bus Speed, the HT also increased together. Must be the "Auto" function that was set in the BIOS. im not vy noe about software base OC.. oni noe OC thro BIOS.. I guess prolly cos my HT went > 2000Mhz that my comp was unstable.. Thanks edit: Hmm.. even "limiting" my HT at Bios (through AI Overclocker), didn't help. My HT went up to 2025 Mhz...when I'm OC'ed at 2.48 Ghz these type of unstable is divide to mobo unstable: 1. FSB in amd call HTT 2. HT link( athlonx2=1000, phenom=1800,2000) 3. NB frequency(phenom only) 4. TDP support by ur mobo (eg: some mobo is 140W cpu supported) all this is for mobo stability issue that nid to care for OCing.. to be sure still nid care on max cpu freq & RAM freq.. *corect me if geting wrong... |

QUOTE(sysh @ Nov 2 2008, 01:41 AM) Well.. I'm not using a software base OC (e.g. AMD Overdrive), did it through the BIOS. Anyway I think I'll drop my OC to something stable for now. Will study OC in a bit more detail first before going the next step. Thanks again! yea.... push to 3.0GHz will pwn ah_khoo down... but thn dun fried ur proc...care ur PWM temp as ah_khoo told u js nw.. actually oc more 400Mhz oledi gud enuf |

HT link 1.5k still stable kah?? ------------------------------------ @MENCHELSEA i dun thk PWM that u highlight there is correct la,, PWM here if no mistake is call power mosfet, wat u highlight there is is inductor.. it should be like this :- This post has been edited by cdlim87: Nov 2 2008, 02:43 PM |

ur oledi get bec ur rma de DFI NF ULTRA-II..?? nice wor... dfi not using solid cap oso can go till sooo high htt.. ------------------------------- edit: althou it oni with 3 power phase(inductor) but the design using there is 3 power mosfet to support 1 power phase, that make it come out with this good result.. ** its my opinion la...
