can anyone recommend to me a good image viewver for viewing .gif files?
try coral programss...its good, but its not free.
viewing .gif file in vista?

i prefer how WinXP handles JPG and GIF together.
Vista keeps opening GIF with picture viewer.  i think can set the option, will try later. theoretically can set the "Open With.." thing. |

yeah, its troublesome to view .gif files wif browsers...cant go to the nxt image easily.

i think they're asking as in using default available applications instead of having to download and install new stuff.

Seems that they blocked the animation because some gifs contains malicious scripts. As I usually use ACDsee I don't really find it a problem

I heard about like virus/malicious code that can be put in *.gif format - - I might be wrong but I think Microsoft is aware of this and they know it.
BTW, just use IrfanView. |
