can anyone recommend to me a good image viewver for viewing .gif files?
try coral programss...its good, but its not free.

IE cant go to the next pictures..
say if u r viewing a number of GIF files, u cant go from pic1 to pic2.. u nid to manually open them

i prefer how WinXP handles JPG and GIF together.

Vista keeps opening GIF with picture viewer. hmm.gif i think can set the option, will try later. biggrin.gif theoretically can set the "Open With.." thing.

LOL. silly me, i thought Vista was on my gaming machine ONLY. tongue.gif fact is that it's also on my current machine............ damn i thought i was on XP!

yeah, its troublesome to view .gif files wif browsers...cant go to the nxt image easily.

i think they're asking as in using default available applications instead of having to download and install new stuff.

any i tried the OPEN WITH thing and it didn't work. sucks man........

Seems that they blocked the animation because some gifs contains malicious scripts. As I usually use ACDsee I don't really find it a problem

I heard about like virus/malicious code that can be put in *.gif format - - I might be wrong but I think Microsoft is aware of this and they know it.

BTW, just use IrfanView.
