1) Gendo: make a unforgiable misstake & hell regret, cos her wife ayanami yui death. Planing to use the eve unit to cast 3rd impact. The third Impact can open the door of Guf, where all Souls in earth can back to the "Tree of LIFE". He Believed he can meet his wife YUI at there.

2) Shinji : Living in a lonely world, where no place to share for. He felt ppl around him just wanna to use him as tool to completed their desires. They dont concern how shinji feel. He hold they key of cast the 3rd Impact.

Gendo & shinji, like father like son, unable to accept the true, only willing living in his own world.

3) Asuka : Join military bcos wanna get praise from ppl " as long as i score the higher mark, i can live in nevr & mama gona proud with me"

4) Ayanami rei : Clone version of Gendo wife, Yui. A souless pilot & non characteristic. Later on she start to learning of love & care when she explore with their frez.

5) Misato : she target just wanna revenge, against the angel that cos her father die.

6) Seele organization : Wanna go back to the place of origin, GOD house or garden of eden.

Other charactor.....not so importance

So, Evangelion is inspiring from = Religion + Human metality.

The writer before write the eva, he got other artwork & manga, but all his artwork so so only...so, 1 time dia balik kampung, orang kampung ask him..hey, after u leaving kampung pigi bandar, ada apo kerjayaan???? answer is....No. He down & ashame. Then, if u r religion ppl, i believed u will ask god or share your problem with priest/ GOD. Then, Idea come lioa.

That y in eva, every charactor also have it own problem: (& the problem more like we face it bfore)

TV ending with shinji & asuka living in the lonely world (like ADAM & EvE). Nothingless..lonely...

Shinji Confuse, where all his school frez (good), & his father & eva (bad) doent not exist. He starting to miss it...

Key of get out the mindset:

Understading each other & willing to share, to learn about life, to living in a group...

TV series, takde mari,

evangelion movie, 2.0 & 3.0 only got mari..

eva 3.0 main female charactor is asuka, mari & rei just watak sampingan jumlah masa tak sampai 5 min in eva 3.0

according to the original tv series, the 3rd impact is the ending...but in movie, 4rd impact failed. Look like the change the ending. adding extra mecha, charactors, battle suit will be benefit for the toy merchandise.
