well, quiet and obedient is great and all. but ayanami lacks character, if shes a real human being. you wont want your curry to taste bland and empty right? you want it to have spices and adequate salt and everything.

nobody get to taste it, so how the curry taste will remain a mystery.

yeah, that bout ayanami being souless and emotionless. she did developed feelings, even in the original animated series. thats why she killed herself to save ikari. too bad she died and got replaced by another clone, but it shows that ayanami can develop feelings like a normal human being. it just take time

yep, i remember going "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, AYANAMIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!" when she died.
then later when knowing she was alive but dont remember anything about her feelings, i was "whyyyyyy!!!!!!, damn you anno, why you do this????"

i really like that scene. everybody sees the one they cherish the most, got touched in a very loving and tender matter, then burst into lcl. and everybody on earth dies. along side the song "Komm, süsser Tod", it was and still is my favourite anime scene :3

the manga have a few twist that differs from the anime. to me, i read/watched both and enjoyed them as a different entities.
