tips you had to block server IP address for (IM)
another workaround using opendns some1 have posted a solution, try search the forum "opendns"
blocking p2p is 90%, there is still leak using Chinese BT.
good luck
full in control blocking/limited access you need have better hardware.
DIY turn old PC into internet gateway (almost free) router support 3rd party firmware (tomato,dd-wrt) RMxxx ready-2-use "firewall" RMxxxx-RMxxxxx

for now, i only can block yahoo and msn messenger.
go to Advance Tab, then go to submenu Parent Control. add domain login.yahoo.com for yahoo messenger and login.live.com for msn.
ive test it and unable to connect to ym/msn and to the mail as well.

(Have mercy on my bad english i'm from sweden) But there are other sites you can use instead like ebuddy.com and trillian-messenger.net. I don't know everyone but I know there is many and it's always new ones. I have the same problem and I haven't solved it yet.
