Lol whats this raid about...i am still new in it....My motherboard says i have raid....but what in the world is it?

Hi...I got some question...I dropped 1 of my harddisk on the floor....The heigh was about half a meter....When i plug back into the comp it was still working...But the System feels like hang hang abit....Lets say i opening a huge file...it will take a moment to react....compared to last time b3fore drop...it was normal...Isit faulty ?
