Am buying 2 more TB hard disk. Which one you guys recommend? Seagate or WD or Samsung or Hitachi or Fujitsu ?
For heavy duty use --- buy 2 now to try out, and if they pass the tourture test, will buy 3 more later, for raid configuration.
thanks for sharing !

QUOTE(seanlimys @ Nov 19 2008, 03:34 AM) review shows re performs better den standard drives on raid system...well..if u are the fan of wd...and not going for raid, y dun u pick the 640gb version? about the wd 640GB HD --- this is my suggestion .... DON'T BUY IT !!!I bought one when it baru came out, within weeks, HD starts to behave strangely. Upon checking -- BAD SECTORS !! C'mon la ! Bad sectors?? This is supposed to be a "perpendicular recording" drive, and still bad sectors? This post has been edited by kalambong: Nov 21 2008, 07:59 PM

Also, it gets very VERY HOT ! The Seagate 1TB drive that I'm using on another PC don't even get so hot. This 640GB disk, sigh ....
