In terms of better, I think both are the same. But in terms of long lasting, I think Seagate is better. This is just based on my experiences around me, WD causing a lot of problems (if you're unlucky). I've been using Seagate for about 3 years, so far so good. Same goes to Samsung, my oldest partner ever, more than 5 years(I think 8 years already), not a single problem.

Well, it's all up to you which one you prefer and which you trust the most.
