It depends on your preference, i just bought a WD 1 TB Green Caviar 32mb Cache @ Rm350 at Lowyat, very happy with it since is just for external hard disk for storing multimedia stuffs no fast spin required for me, anyway just invest in a good external enclosure. And also the new Green Caviar has 3 platters(333 GB each) compare to 4 for the last model(250 GB each), and also a 32 mb cache. Anyway happy with what i bought.

Amazing almost one year ago i bought the green 1TB for RM350, it has been great so far. If you're talking about the latest HDD then at least SATA2, alternatively you can just googled the product code. And btw green caviar is sata2 hdd. |

I bought the Western Digital 1TB Green Caviar 64MB cache yesterday for RM299 best price from cycom.
Not bad they even wrap it with an anti-electrostatic discharge bag!
Anyway happy with what i bought, now i need to hunt for an external hard-disk casing.
