I am planning to get a 1TB Western Digital HDD. There are two types. One is normal and another one is black edition. Just wonder got any different other than 5 years warranty? Performance wise or reliability matter?

Just wonder the Advance format is supported in Windows 2003 server? or should I use WD Align utility?

This kind of performance are great. I can't achieve that with my old WD 250gb HDD.

I got RAID 0 WD Raptor 36Gb 8MB, just wonder do you guys think should I upgrade to 1x Samsung F3 500Gb?

Guys, below is the screen shot that I did for HDDTune for my WD Raptor 36Gb 8Gb RAID 0.
 Not sure is it good idea to replace it with Samsung F3 500GB (1 drive configuration). |
