what you guys this about samsung spinpoint f1 1tb and wd green 1tb (eads)? which is better? both is about less than 310. btw have seagate completely resolve the firm ware issues? kind of skeptical to get seagate 1tb at same price.

mois, u can get seagate for about rm290, imo rm325 is way overprice. others you can consider samsung f3 as well. quite a good performer and its 2 platter drive same as 7200.12.

its available already, you need to go look around in lyp. i am still using 2x f1 so far so good. maybe will get some f3 as well next year blush.gif

yangxi its f3eg series. not 7.2k rpm its 5400rpm. 4 platter of 500gb.

finally 1tb drive drops below 200, last year december i bought was around rm248 for f3.
