Is the problem of Samsung Spinpoint F3 with SB850 only occurs if we update the firmware of the Samsung Spinpoint F3?

By the way, the links show that it's not Samsung Spinpoint F3 having high RMA rates. doh.gif doh.gif
It's like Samsung Spinpoint F3(with newest firmware) have incompatibility problem over AMD SB850 Chipset only.

Me? no.. Still use old G.Gbite board. Well it will no give any problem for other chipset right?

If not mistaken, that problem is for AMD Chipset(SB850) only. Intel Chipset shouldn't be affected.
If you didn't play with the firmware(update it), you also won't have this problem. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Thanks for the information. Now, I have a clearer image already.

And this issue shouldn't be bothered at all if you're using Intel Platform. tongue.gif nod.gif

I always saw Western Digital HDD got RMAed instead of Seagate and Samsung.
I think Samsung having high RMA rates can be voided here.

LUCK is indeed play in every hardware now a day.
It's more like each brand(except cap ayam) have about the same quality already, unlike the older days that some brands are lousy.

Samsung is now the BEST HDD Manufacturer for me. LOL.

High Quality(low RMA rates), Superb Performance, Low Power Consumption & Low Heat and Freaking Cheap!
