i can understand bout 50-60% typically, although admittedly, S&W being a more storyline/dialogue/drama/slice of life based anime, it is a lot harder OTL

ive tried out the RAW with the OVA episode 00, and it wasnt too bad after watching the subs later on

Low quality as in picture quality? These days they come up with 720p too.

encoding, filterations, sound quality, sub quality, typesetting quality, etc etc.

and yes, they are inferior. until their slow subs are out, which are at least gets consideration, while the early release speed subs are all... trash. (they still use RMVB too /vomit)

LoL yeah those RMVB, well I only download those with the same or better quality to the 720p english subs.

Then it would be better just to read the novel than wathing the anime?

As books are always better than TV series interms of story telling.

Ahahaha, I reading the novel now, Fuj. But not as fast as I should since I am busy with my work too. Spice and Wolf is based on light novels.

AFAIK, ep00 is already with the new art director. horo is different, but its a welcoming change as far as i can tell
