Hi everyone. This is the first time I step into the Anime Shrine. I'm interested in going as well but will focus on snapping photos. Can I join you guys or am I too n00b to do so? I watch anime a lot but don't really get involve in all this.

So far I've only been to the ACGC in midvalley few months back. I enjoyed it very much esp the cosplay I assume that there'd definitely be cosplay in this event as well??

Added on October 22, 2008, 4:30 pmGeylang is indeed a very cheap place but it can be very dodgy at night. Hookers along the street and back alley, gambling stalls as well. Not to mention some of the rooms there. I was there in July and it was so scary when the hookers tried to pulled me away while i was walking along the street

If the venue is at Suntec then I suppose China Town or YWCA. Stayed in hostels in these 2 places before. The rooms are clean and near to the MRT station. I've stayed in Bugis before as well but it's way too noisy (because of the traffic) there at night and I could hardly sleep.
