Do you realize the magnitude of current supply > demand? It could take a few decades of natural populations growth to take up current excess supply.
It is disposable thing unless you keep recycle🤭Top Glove 7113, High speed growth

Topkekw... still discussing glove sector...
Numbers are so apparent, but people are greedy as usual. Delivered the warning multiple times back then about overcapacity. I dont think it matters if it is well managed or not. The problem lies in capacity alone. The demand is not there before, and will not be there after. Just keep in mind, utilisation rate are between 60-70% pre-covid. Hartalega expanded, Supermax almost doubled their production capacity, not to mention the smaller players. The only good news is TG didnt expand but took over their rivals in Adventa and Mah Sing. Now just have to monitor movement in China. If China expanded, holy cow the glut. |

All greedy go expend production capacity.... Then how no oversupply.... China also coming on board with their super low cost (don't know how they managed to do that).... And selling price also lower.... |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Dec 14 2022, 10:33 PM) Gloves sector cannot already... Most glove production lines came from PRC.All greedy go expend production capacity.... Then how no oversupply.... China also coming on board with their super low cost (don't know how they managed to do that).... And selling price also lower.... PRC provincial gomem is very supportive of glove industry and cheaper energy cost. PRC big players ventured into upstream e.g nbr production. |

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Dec 15 2022, 10:04 AM) facts. coming from china delegates, who want to set up plant in msia.whom we just had discussion with 2 days ago. citing raw materials availability, cost of doing business, especially on power and water (ample of supply and cheap) as one of their main reasons to venture out of china and looking into msia as their number one target. If you want to know why msia, it's palm based product into renewable energy, why not indonesia? power availability may be poorer in further away places, especially in kalimanta, although coming up, but still a distance to go, so indonesia is their 2nd option. |

Net zero only applies to those legit and listed companies i dont want to go into lengthy discussion, but net zero is on many large corporation's target and carbon tax is real (coming soon). Not for those China companies as they doesn’t care so long as it is profitable 1st 🤦♀️ The only reason why they venturing abroad is to prevent their assets being seized and controlled CCP coupled with tax breaks provided by other countries abroad |

QUOTE(tehoice @ Dec 16 2022, 11:13 AM) facts. coming from china delegates, who want to set up plant in msia. If maluhsia cost is cheaper than PRC, FDI would have invested here rather than in PRC, vn and th. Why nitrile and rubber glove from PRC could be cheaper?whom we just had discussion with 2 days ago. citing raw materials availability, cost of doing business, especially on power and water (ample of supply and cheap) as one of their main reasons to venture out of china and looking into msia as their number one target. If you want to know why msia, it's palm based product into renewable energy, why not indonesia? power availability may be poorer in further away places, especially in kalimanta, although coming up, but still a distance to go, so indonesia is their 2nd option. Most PRC companies come here to avoid u.s and e.u tariff. When crypto was legal in PRC, they had the most crypto mining. If electricity is cheaper in this country, why few crypto mining here?
