i planning to buy the phone at end of october, but currently confusing in choosing between those two... the shop say all are the same only slide and qwerty, but those two model are so stylish... so any opinion on what should be choose? the opinion of e66 and e71 users would be great.. thanks^^

My dad is using E66 and my neighbour is using E71..i've tried both phone..and both are really the same..the software..the speed and so on..the only difference is the form factor..if u want to be stylo..by the slide one la..if u want to type fast..by the qwerty one..but i suggest u buy the E66..good phone!

SUre E71. Bigger screen means easier to browse. Full keyboards fast typing

e66.......slim portable and stylish......the 71 looks fat and bulky....

but its really up to u and what u want out of your phone i guess...

try type an email with tat keypad.

I think the screens of the E66 and E71 are the same resolution. At least that was the case with the E65 and E61i which were the respective predecessors to these phones.

just the Qwerty keypad it beats e66 for my personal use.
i use my phone to online at wifi zone , on the go,email , msn

and with normal keypad it takes ages to type an email.

E71 screen is side way wider with keyboard at the bottom tats a perfect combination. I can even reply LYN so fast.

from the picture above its so obvious e71 screen is bigger than e66

Go for E71 . it look more elegant and executive

i heard e66 got more features than e71 including tap to mute? ><

tap to mute if the phone have accelerator. From the spec e66 doesnt have build in accelerator.

Question is simple do u prefer QWERTY or not.

If me i love QWERTY because i am too used to the computer keyboard. So i apply the same skill i have on the keyboard to the phone. I can even close my eyes to type.

yeah... different people have different perspectives.... if i, i definitely, take E77.. more stylish....

is there E77?

Anyway with full keyboard taking notes down is very fast.

Both also business smart phone with same functions but I prefer E71 cos the looks suitable for business man. E66 just like simple phone looks.

In life its the same. Normal keypad how u get use to cant win a keypad that button is ready except t9

Not everyone can type without looking the keypad la. Some ppl used computer 10 years still need see the keyboard type la(With 1 finger somemore).

Er..the E66 is a slider phone .. so it is fatter. The E71 is slimmer although the front is a bit wider. It still looks ok .. better than the e61i. I have a e71 and just love its looks. Downside is that the metal body attracts fingerprints. I use a clear plastic cover over it and it serves the purpose.

u should say e71 have QWERTY key board and e66 doesnt have. That make a huge difference u know
