hahah...those that dont play this game or hate gaming would really give negative remarks without knowing what they are posting, ignore them
I used to be a hardcore raider in World of Warcraft. Hardcore usually means dedicating hours of your life into a game, plus having a 9-5 job doesn't leave you a lot of free time you can spend with your significant other. Raiding hardcore, is like having another job, and it involves a lot of dedication, participation, and a lot of passion to succeed because a serious raiding guild demands it. 4-5 nights a week of raiding, 8pm to 12am. On other nights, it's usually rest and relax, but there's always a need to fire up the game, and to get that bloody last piece of equipment to improve healing by a measly 5 points because it matters.
And yes, I do "try" to balance my game time with my ex, but that's apparently not enough - which is the reason why we broke up after 5 years of being together. Looking back, it was a stupid thing to do, and no pixels in game should ever be more important that the relationship with your significant other. Maybe you're all still young, and maybe you'd think that there are other fishes in the sea. Eventually I started dating again, minus the gaming and I can tell you this much, that the relationship I've had with my ex of 5 years, can never replace to the one I'm in now. (I hope my current gf doesn't read lowyat >.<)
So take it from me, because I've been there. It's sad that I've let computer games ruined something special and dear to me. Since then I've vowed to never ever let it happen again. And I hope it does not ever happen to anyone of you. Understand this. You don't know what you're missing until you loose it.
That will be all.
