@Ricky

why must be HK ? or other countries that sell unlocked iPhone 3G ?

As long as it's properly 'Unlocked' and not 'JailBroken', I don't really care where it's from.

As long as it's brand new.

@ricky

Unlock and jailbreak are two different things. And yes, do some research first.

I know it's 2 different things.

There are some people who PM me who got Unlocked and Jailbroken confused.

I don't want jailbroken phones.

And yes, I've done the research.

Actually, I'm trying to source iPhones for prizes for competition and events that we're organising in i-City.

don't mind me ricky88. but have you thought of warranty issues if the phones which you have purchased are faulty.
the prospective winners are sure to ask for a receipt if they do encounter mishaps. you cannot possibly tell them to fly to the country of origin for that purpose? you cannot in return put a disclaimer that your company will not be held liable for such encounters. if even you insist on doing that, how well will that look on your organisation's image?

Apparently i was told that if i bring it into a Apple retail store in KL/PJ, they will help coordinate singapore to service the iphone.

Will double check on this again. May buy apple extended warranty to cover this.
