just peel off your road tax slowly , should be no problem , then use some alcohol to wipe the sticky part at the tint , no problem at all one

Hi,I'm new here but here is my way : Stick the road tax on a piece of small tinted film (same size as the road tax). By doing so, u don't have any side of the road tax are sticky. Then, use a bigger tinted film (bigger than the road tax) to stick the road tax to your tinted windscreen. Next year, u just peel off the tinted film. Maybe it is hard to understand. Just try to figure it how. Or u can try to ask any accessories shop to do it for u. Cheers This post has been edited by podz: Oct 4 2008, 05:19 PM |

Wont damage ur tint dont worry..peel it off n clean it. otherwise, use plastic shield (cut the extra window tint nicely to match ur roadtax shape. u can always get it on the floor of ur tint shop lol).

QUOTE(davidmu @ Oct 4 2008, 11:44 PM) Road tax holder is illegal. That is why they made the current roadtax to stick on the windscreen so that people don't transfer it from car to car. Most the time at police roadblocks they only have time to see the due date of the roadtax but not the small car number plate that is printed on it.Added on October 5, 2008, 10:04 am QUOTE(blasturanus @ Oct 4 2008, 02:19 PM) my front windscreen is tinted.. if i paste my roadtax on the front tint, next time wana get rid of it, sure it'll leave stain on my tint. it's impossible to get rid of the stain without scratching the tint.. how how?? Go and get Spirits (don't mix up with Thinner) aka rubbing alcohol. It is only RM2 something at any DIY shop for a big bottle. It is the same thing as cleaning alcohol. That will the glue. This post has been edited by sleepwalker: Oct 5 2008, 10:04 AM |
