Dude, it can work.but u need to download the firmware for iphone 2g not 3g.

Maybe users like kayden may think this subforum is only for expert only then maybe he should put up a call for vote for this forum to be moderated fully all posting be screen before apporved. Call someone a lazy bums straight out is uncall for and 100% rude.

Just my opinion and I am sure I might be flame for this but this is a forum smile.gif

I am sure you would not be back when someone call you a lazy bum. We must be deplomatic maybe sarcastic smile.gif

You know when I got my iphone I search and search at LYN and google, there are just loads of info. After upgrading to 2.01 I plan to upgrade to 2.1 and I still read all those pin thread and read still blur and I was fortunately to post what I was plan to do and some kind fellow here point out that I will end up with a lock phone if I did that.

With that said I may not be as smart as I think I am hmm.gif

Anyway I do hope this forum would continue to grows and help newbies not end up as a place for old timer to discuss their favourite subject.

Ahem.....

This is getting out of hand.... cry.gif

Chill out and be a bit gentle on newbies is all I was suggesting. A kind word here and there is what I was suggesting. If you find that that newbie or noob is asking too silly a question for you to answer then just skip to the next thread. It serve no purpose for name calling and rude remarks to greet a new member here.

Maybe the moderator would be kind enough to move the silly newbies question to the right thread and I am sure all of us here would be a happier bigger family.

Just my 2 sen worth

@jackdon

We would welcome you to help out with the noobs when you can. We are polite enough to ask new forumers to use the search function and read the threads opened by many here as they have made it available with answers and solutions.

Btw, i found most answers thru the threads here made by forumers without opening new threads everytime i need an answer.

And, everyone knows how to read and is all in English. For example. If a word like 'jailbreak' sounds intimidating, look up in google or find in the threads here. I did look up in google and found my answers. Frozzbyte did a good explanation on it too.

Well, do hope to see you helping out more with the noobs.

Cheers
