camera with built in mic sound shitty because of the "maximizer", or compression that trying to boost the recorded audio as loud as possible. it's done that way to suit the casual comsumers.
you'd probably look into high end camcorder. actually using audio recorder is much better that way, you'll need to spend a lot on camera/videocam for good quality audio.
FYI, professional video cam will have professional condenser mic mounted on the cam - the mic itself can be as expensive as few hundred or even RM1k and above.

camcorder with good sound... not possible ! the sound is recorded in a compressed (lossy) format, such as mp3. Therefore, if you're serious about good sound quality, you got to get this (or similar) : http://www.thomann.de/fr/line6_backtrack_mic.htmrecording in .wav format, with proper mic. by the way, youtube will compress your sound also.. if you're planning to record yourself and upload on youtube, keep in mind that the sound will be "destroyed" by the youtube conversion. therefore there is no need to have a good recording equipment for this purpose.
