Hi,

For driving I recommend interim lenses, meaning something that is quite dark, but with a slight increase in contrast. This is usually brown based lens such as Bronze, Titanium Iridium (my personal favorite), Gold Iridium and G30 (purplish/pink base). Driving is a unique condition, as the light intensity changes frequently (clouds, shades, etc). As such the darkest lenses might not be the best choice as you will find yourself having to take the pair on/off repeatedly.
