Itu edmin go for OC with power saving on.
@Edmin
Ofcause la.. Mine is 2MB cache per core, but urs is 4MB per core. At least the benchmark is 50% diff from mine.

That is normal for Prescott based, mine with Big Typhoon + 12cm fan. +/- 1300rpm, temp is around 40-45'c (depend on weather Wanna keep that monster below 40'c? 1. Water cooling 2. XP120 + 12CM Delta (5-6k rpm full blown) Choose 1. @Edmin Haven't give ur surprise out? This post has been edited by fylon: Mar 26 2009, 10:25 AM |

Biasa with Delta 12CM full blown liao.. I have 2x behind me now (work place, use on server rack exhaust fan). Once server temp is up, and it will start blow full speed.. Fuuyoh! U get will crazy with the sounds. The rack will vibrate also. P/s: My GTS were G92 based. Nothing much diff with GTX260. This post has been edited by fylon: Mar 26 2009, 03:08 PM |

Hah.. Still the same old speech. "don't buy if it is not needed". @Kabu Yea. But GTX260 better as it has better SP (stream processor) and higher clock for all the element in core/mem/sharder. But afterall, not a heavy gamer anymore. More into fish! This post has been edited by fylon: Mar 26 2009, 03:30 PM |

Bro honestly, are u trying to fry ur processor? Btw, most of P4 processor thermal specification is below 70'c. So better keep ur proce temp safe below 70'c. Else life spend might be degraded. |

With giant cooler and the temp is still around 60 during full load is abit over. My previous P4 setup not much diff with yours beside my PSU were planted outside of the casing. Its very pack as well, but my temp never goes more then 60'c on 100% stress/blend. The most is 55-57'c. Did u try to touch the HSF? How was it? Can cook egg? 1. Sensor faulty 2. Thermal grease problems (too much, too less, bad quality type) 3. HSF in not properly sitted / placed |

Yea. That is what im thinking off as well.. But only can clarify the problem if bai touched the HSF. Haha.. Like what used to happen to 1st batch Q6600. The processor internal temp sensor never show the accurate temp. Temp can go below -0'c. |

Yea.. It was. Is the internal chip sensor having problem. Where it will read more / less then the actual one. Very funny. I think is the ES version that has this problem. P/s: Saw the article before long time ago.. But dont mange to dig it out. This post has been edited by fylon: Mar 31 2009, 01:59 PM |
