You can't get good sound with amp alone. It needs to come with all the 5.1 or 7.1 speakers to sounded their best. Heck even 2.1 also beat TV speakers anytime. Your best bet is to get HTiB if you don't want spending too much on home theater.

Just get yourself PC 2.1 speakers. That's what I'm using now for bedroom setup (Altec Lansing ATP3). No amp needed. Just connect your DVD stereo out to the speaker mini jack input (you need mini to RCA cable). Better still if you can get speakers with RCA input or coaxial/optical input. Anyway, one thing I don't like if the person got a bassy voice, the sub will amplified it |
