Hi Everyone,i just brought a NDSi and i think this system is far better than NDS lite !!! Everyone say NDSi is not good enough,just minor upgrade,camera not that good and no gba slot is really dissapointing and blah blah blah... And i gonna prove to all of this ppl WRONG and heres why.

Lets look at the new software and some new features:

-Take photos <you can take photo and customize it ur own way by using 11 different lens and save it to SD card.you can also upload ur photo taken from NDSi directly to facebook via wi-fi.you can also print the photo if u want. The photo resolution is 640x480 and its pretty clear !!! trust me !!! This camera megapixel is not revealed by Nintendo,but its really clear and sharp base on its 640x480 resolution photo.And the cool thing is this camera can recognize where ur eyes,nose,mouth,ear and hand is !!! AWESOME ! And don’t forget guys,this camera will be used for gameplay in the future.i cant wait ! [OVERRALL]-It’s very fun.This camera is not the sharpest camera but it is the smartest camera !>

-Listen music and record sound <you can play aac format file audio stored in SD card,edit the music in a very unique way that cellphone cannot offer.Record 10 sec sound using NDSi microphone and edit it whatever you like.Very fun !! [OVERALL]-I’m glad this feature is added to this system bcoz an awesome handheld device must be able to play music right?>

-Web Browser <Finally you can surf internet by using NDSi,wow!!! I have tested this browser and its ok for me.you can go google,check email,twitter,friendster,facebook and lowyat.net but some webpage are a bit slow to load.the sad thing is there is no flashplayer so u cant watch youtube videos.This browser will be updated very soon. [OVERALL]- This is a really good new features,use this browser to check information,email,weather,news is very good.>

DSi shop- <You can go online to DSiWare to buy apps and games exclusively for NDSi. [OVERALL]- This is the new feature that i'm most happy with,bcoz the new DSiWare games is keep coming !!!

FlipnoteStudio- <You can draw and create ur own simple animation and broadcast it to the world if u want to.You can also go online to Flipnote Hatena,a special website where u can watch,upload ur own animation,download animation from other players around the world.just like youtube on pc, flipnote hatena on DSi. [OVERALL]- Creativity is UNLIMITED with this apps.>

SLOT 1- <You can still play Nintendo DS game already available on ur NDSi.

PICTOCHAT & DS DOWNLOAD PLAY is still here on NDSi

BETTER SYSTEM CONFIGURATION,NDSI have more and better setting than NDS lite.

NDSi system can be updated from time to time.

BAD THINGS- <No GBA slot,no flashplayer,graphic remains the same>
for me,i dont care about GBA slot bcoz if u wan to play GBA games,then play it on GBA system.


ALL THIS IS NDSi SOFTWARE AND NEW FEATURES,THIS IS JUST AN OVERALL OK,HARDWARE&DESIGN IS COMING SOON.CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG,THX.

can debit card be used to purchase nintendo points ?

The dsi is far better than ds lite now bcoz there is tons of dsiware games out now.
You can buy the dsi point via VISA debit card.For US dsi,1000 point equal to aprrox RM35.
i got a US version light blue dsi,and i already purchase(via brazil hack) a lot of dsiware games like

-Mighty Flip Champ(RM28)
-Bomberman Blitz(RM18)
-Dragon Quest Wars(RM18)

All these dsiware games are fun,addictive and some of the game got wi-fi connection.

For DSI colors,US version currently available in 4 colors-(black,white,pink,light blue).i really recommend u guy buy the US version DSI bcoz VISA debit card works,US dsi shop got a lot of games now.For Europe,Japan,Australia region DSI im not so sure about it. Hope it helps,thx.

Added on November 15, 2009, 2:54 pmFor u guy who dont have a credit card,you can just apply for a debit card to purchase dsiware games.For me, i got a maybank account and an atm card,i just go to maybank and say i wan to upgrade my atm card to visa debit card.they charge me RM12 for the upgrade and i fill a form and i get the card in 20 minutes.after this u can only use the card in malaysia only,to purchase thing online, u need to go to atm machine and open a maybank2u setting(ask maybank ppl help u),then u log on to www.maybank2u.com to fill one simple form then you are done.your debit card now works worldwide.HOPE IT HELPS. enjoy ur dsiware games.

i wonder when UNO dsi will come out ?

Japan --- black , white , pink , lime green , metallic blue , glossy red
North America --- black , white , pink , light blue
Europe --- black , white , light blue , metallic blue , glossy red
Australasia --- black , white , pink , metallic blue

The DSi is currently available in seven colors; only the matte black and white models are available in all regions. The lime green color is only available in Japan,and pink is available in Japan, North America and Australasia.The metallic blue color is available in Australasia, Japan and Europe.European countries also received light blue and red on October 23, 2009.

Similarities:
-ALL the DSI can play DS games (no region locked)
-ALL the DSI can connect and play multiplayer wirelessly
-ALL the DSI is the same except the difference written below.

Difference:
-DSI shop is region locked(it means that a Japan DSI can only connect to Japan DSI shop,Europe DSI can only connect to Europe DSI shop.)So there is only 4 different DSI shop existed all with different downloadable content.


-DSIWARE games released are different by region(eg.if megaman 10 is released in JAPAN DSI shop,there is no way other region DSI can get this game until this game is released in their respective DSI shop.)

-Region DSI is different in language.(Japan DSI all in japanese,Europe DSI available in 5 europe main language,NA DSI available in english,spanish,french)

-DSIWARE games downloaded from DSI shop is different in language as well.(DSIWARE GAMES in japan DSI are all in japanese,NA DSIWARE games are all in english.)

In malaysia,most of the retail shop sell North America or Japan version DSI.Europe and Australasia version is hard to get in malaysia.(maybe bcoz the price is expensive?)
For u guys who wanna get DSI,i recommend u get the North America(US)
DSI bcoz:
-we have brazil hack to buy dsiware games
-all dsiware games are in english

You can get the Japan DSI if u:
-can read japanese
-know what type of credit card works in malaysia to purchase dsiware games
-love the japan DSI model color so much.(lime green,glossy red, metallic blue,limited edition)
-wanna to get some japan only released dsiware games
-make no mistake,japan DSI shop got way more games than US DSI shop.(but all in japanese language)

the DS lite can change all the language setting but not DSI (region locked sucks).

red or light blue to choose...
keep in mind that red color DSI is the only glossy finish system,the other DSI are all matte finish.

matte finish --- [good thing] no finger print,unscratched
[bad thing] get dirty easily

glossy finish --- [good thing] looks shiny and brand new,easy to clean
[bad thing] leave lot of finger print,easily scratched

my opinion,i prefer matte finish bcoz get dirty is better than get scratched.if dirty at least i can clean it.get it?

only japan and europe offer glossy red DSI,its a bit hard to find in malaysia retail,u may wanna purchase it online.if u really like the red,go for it.(but i really not sure credit card works or not on non-US DSI shop).happy gaming.

I heard some rumors say that ghostwire is coming to DSI-retail not DSIware.if thats the case,ghostwire game will have more content and deeper.No matter it comes out in DSIware or DSI exclusive,this game will sure take use the camera for gameplay.

I have no idea what will Nintendo do next,i think we havent see the full potential of the DSI yet,we just have to wait.One thing for sure,Nintendo always create surprise !

-[WiiWare] for new games designed specifically for Wii
-[Wii Channels] section for applications such as Wii's Opera web browser


Nintendo DSi Shop only have one section:

-[DSIWare] for new games designed specifically for DSI

All these downloadable games,applications in their respective section are purchased by using Nintendo points.

the DS games are great,especially NSMB and Zelda phantom hourglass,i already finish it and its good.how about DSiware games?What are the DSIware games you're going to get?

There will be a new DSI color released in US this friday! Metallic Blue !!! Not only that,this system will come with 5 installed DSIware games ! As some of you may know,this friday is the American Shopping Day in US,so nintendo is offering 2 DSI package(metallic blue&white) with different content and value to coincide the event !


-Metallic blue DSi (a new color) will come loaded with five Mario-themed games and apps, namely Dr. Mario Express, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again, WarioWare: Snapped! and the plumber's clock and calculator apps.


-White DSi will include Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Sudoku and Math; as well as Clubhouse Games Express: Card Classics and the Photo Clock app.


For me,its really a good deal with metallic blue offering 4 mario games and especially Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again which is a must own DSIware game.Warioware Snapped will come for free too.
The white one offer is a bit sucks for me,3 brain age games is too much for me,clubhouse games express card classics is ok and photo clock application is useless.

DSI LL is exactly the same to DSI in software,function and features.
the difference are the longer battery life,design,bigger screen and a extra touch pen.Thats all !

the screen is so damn big is good and dont worry,the pixel will be the same as regular DSI,but this DSI LL is the heaviest gaming handheld to date.

No you're wrong,the image quality look exactly the same as regular DSI !

I'll stick with my DSI,coz my DSI screen is already big for me,plus i already download tons of DSIware games on my current DSI.

I got mine from cheras leisure mall,original set for RM 630.Thing i get is exactly like what US ppl get.
[a DSI system,2 stylus,original US charger,booklet and free 1000 nintendo points]
i also get a third party charger bcoz original charger cannot be used without transformer.
I prefer everyhing comes original.RM630 for a DSI,in USA they get it at around RM608. anyone get it cheaper than mine one? i mean the system price,not those flashcart and stuff combined price.U guys try minus the flashcard&stuff price from ur package and see whether u got rugi or not.
