As expected, Nintendo just announced the DSi at its fall presentation -- and it's got dual touchscreens. The company is calling it a "third platform," which means it's complementing the existing DS Lite, not necessarily replacing it. Lookswise there's not much different, but it's some 12 percent thinner, partly because it doesn't have a GBA cartridge slot. The touchscreens are also slightly larger, at 3.25 inches, and there's an external three megapixel camera -- we don't know what that dot in the hinge is, but we're told there's only one camera. There's an SD slot and internal storage -- we're not sure how much at the moment, but photos can be taken directly to the Wii Photo Channel on the card. Nintendo's also launching an online DSi Shop, which will sell content directly over WiFi, including a free browser app and "DS Ware" game -- and you'll be able to get on for free at "Nintendo Zone" hotspots, which'll be in Japanese McDonalds. The store will take the newly-renamed Nintendo Points, 1000 of which will come free with the DSi until March 2010 and content will be priced in 0 / 200 / 500 / 800 point brackets. ¥18,900 ($178), launching in Japan on November 1st in black and white -- the rest of us will have to wait until next year.

7:12 : Nintendo DSi will be released in white and grey-black color variations, and launch on November 1 for 18900 yens in Japan.

7:10 : The Nintendo DSi will come with a browser included.

7:01 : There's also an internal memory for storing apps (Nintendo DS Ware) and games. You can download games via Nintendo DS Shop with "Nintendo Points.". Wii Points will be renamed to become Nintendo Points. Titles will be placed into Free, 200, 500, and Premium (800) categories. DSi systems that connect by March, 2010 will receive 1000 Points as a gift.

7:00 : There's an SD memory card slot. Pictures you take can be viewed on Wii photo channel.

6:59 : Both screens will be increased to 3.25 inches.

6:52 : The size of the unit has been reduced by 12%, 2.6 millimeters thinner, GBA slot will be excluded, bigger screens, better speakers system, 300,000 pixels camera. Both screens will be touch panels, and photographs should be able to be manipulated through the touch screen.

I just got my NDSL, now a new DSi, 

seems nice, but it has its pros and cons as laid out by the others here:

pro:
- camera with 3.0 mp outside and 0.3 mp inside,
- 3.25" screen
- 12% thinner
- etc, etc

cons:
- battery life reduced
- no gba slot
- no change in picture quality
- etc, etc

since there's no dual touchscreen, it shouldn't be much of a wow factor anyway. so those who are already having an ndsl shouldn't be sad, it's still somewhat better than ndsi.

i want to support it but my area don't have ds game(only old game) and the price is higher than psp umd..abt 200+

i believe ori ds game is about rm 100-120 ..
because the game graphic is bad than psp
and ds game only a few mb,not like psp some game have more than 900mb
