A lot of difference, I would say. The design has been completely revamped, the form factor is much smaller, the screens have adjustable brightness, and has a higher capacity battery, to name a few.

If I would buy one, I'd wait a few months for everything to get sorted out. I don't want another 'first batch' problems on my DSi.

Was already expecting that, because Nintendo would definitely at least try to thwart flashcarts. Not doing so is akin to them inviting flashcart manufacturers, who have all the time to develop a workaround, to make another round of profit off those little things.

I just found out that when you play online DS games with the DSi, you still have to stick with WEP encryption and not WPA as everyone thought it would be. WPA will only work with DSiWare and DSi games where as WEP will still be used for DS games.
