THere's this new shuttlecock from PRINCE brand. They have 3 categories of shuttles; Classic Silver, Classic Gold and another one (cant remember the name).

Review:

Classic Silver is as good as RSL No 1; Price difference RM46.00(PRINCE), RM50.00(RSL)
Classic Gold is as good as Protech Platinum; Price difference RM59.00(PRINCE), RM60++(PROTECH)
Another category, sorry I cant rember coz i tot its quite expensive and not worth the value so i didnt pay much attention to this.

You can try out this new product. Tried & tested by former BAM players

Just my personal opinion, frm experience & my so-many-racquets to compare frm.

If u want to know whether the head is heavy or not, u look at the flex as guide. If flex is high/stiff, meaning the head is heavy. If the flex is medium meaning its weight is balanced. Soft flex usually means the head is light.

  Actually the better way to determine a good racquet is a racquet that can compliment your skill & physical status rather than using certain racquet for either single player or doubles player. There's no restriction to it.

e.g. If u have really strong arms    u ought to use a heavy racquet such as Amortec 700 (used formerly by Lin Dan) or Amortec 900Power (Chong Wei). As for the doubles players, racquets such Ti10 which have a stiff shaft(flex) are used because in a doubles game, fast & attacking play is the usual strategy to win.

No worries not in a hurry to get it unless my Ti10 suddenly go to racket heaven. Can bring in some Zymax string as well?

Apparently Nanospeed 9900 was introduced in Q1 2009, but I could be wrong on this.

Other than that, how's the shaft stiffness ? The NS9900 is like racket on <removed>.

Edit : Haha, didnt know the word v-i-agra is prohibited in this forum. Anyway do check on the hologram sticker too, does it come off easily, the genuine one uses special glue to attach to the racket thus makes it close to impossible to come off.

well.. i recently got myself an apacs edgesaber Z slayer from siaojolene , very good seller btw, strung with yonex bg85 at 27 tension

  , very good all around racquet, but leaning slightly more towards smashing i'd say because theres slightly more power compared to my nanospeed 9900 also at 27 lbs yonex bg85

heres the thing, i have always had troubles playing net shots, they are either too high , or when  i try to soften the "touch /push" , it doesn't go over !

any ways to practice this?? *this also occurs when someone does soft serves*

secondly ,when someone smashes, i see the shuttle clearly, and i always put my racquet below or beside the shutter as it moves and i move along when i try to hit it

*as in the shuttle is always just beside the racquet when i try to counter the smash,and i fail to touch it*

the not that i always miss, but just most of the time, sometimes i even hit the frame, any ways to practice this also??

well, i didnt really look at the string beside the snap one.
coz i scared racket frame bend, so i immediately stop the game for 1-2 min.
cut off the string to loosen the tensions.
so, i didnt actually see. hahaha... but 2 times also break in the middle part.
nvm la, i test my next one.
