it feels light to me. Yes it is old but its seriously though. The Yonex Carbonex range always has been durable.

agreed. if u wanna try apacs clone, u can choose Nano 900 Power
it clones the YY AT900P but feels ntg like it IMO
it's a 4u and sligtly head heavy which will help u generate more power

however, i dun recommend on apacs clone series
if u wan similar racket, try proace sweetspot series
i used to consider a apacs n900p and proace ss2000
chose the apacs..not sure if it's the correct decision
but i use it for string testing now

I tried the Nano 9900...its actually quite nice itself. Dun need something on the higher end lah...I play badminton just for exercise/recreation purpose

the n900p and n9900 both costs less than RM100
proace sweetspot 2k is less than Rm150

yep, that's why...already spending 200 on the Nanospeed 500...no money for a good racket of my own

well if u feel that n9900 is good then go ahead
apacs clones are more or less the same..can't go wrong with any of them

Actually I kinda like Nano9900, my friend bought one and its a fast, lightweight, head balance and stiff racket. Worth every penny. My place here selling for RM100 inclusive of string and grip.

my new toy..
first impression..striking color as it's red..first few swing unstrung original grip..felt the obvious head heavy (spec 295mm bp)
send for stringing and since still in testing phase, i strung it slightly lower than my usual tension..zymax 67 @ 25lbs
applied karakal pu super grip on top of a layer of electrical tape..i peeled off the ori grip
i wanna remain the head heaviness as much as possible
after stringing and grip, measured roughly bp dropped 5mm to 290mm..acceptable

playing wise..it's good.
smashing is powerful..power is appropriate
of coz, this sacrifices a bit on the defensive field
however, i feel that the power on this beast is not fully unleashed yet
next stringing will be 27lbs or maybe 28

My fav. racket which i played with for 2 years before it slowly collapsed structurally....
Last strung at 23lbs with Yonex BG66 before it collapsed. RIP.

what happened? Did you hit any other racket?

I just got my hands on Apacs EdgeSaber 10. Somehow it feels better than the Nano 9900. Gonna string this at 24lbs for more power.

Aeon & ziggy87: Yea i guess its due to an old clash with either racket or the floor! hahaha... Comparing to my old Fleet racket, this one is weaker cuz honestly speaking, i go all the way meaning... i push myself most of the time to reach the unreachable. So clashes on the floor is very likely. I sayang my belongings but i never cared about my rackets... same goes to my squash and tennis rackets. So far, after donkey years playing in competitions like tennis, squash and badminton.... this is the first time i cracked my racket.
