You can also use Bunjalloo to surf with your DS but you need a flash card IINM.

Nope, but it's really a hassle to use it because the onboard RAM just could not handle loading a page with loads of pics etc. Really hoped by the announcement of DSi will make surfing easier since the web browser already built in smile.gif

The problem is dsl's RAM too low, that's why you need the ram upgrade cart. no matter what broswer using, it will crash time to time if the page is too big to load.

i use ds-organiser too

yup, due to low RAM, i read that the page load very slow (especially those with heavy images)

maybe is nice to use it for MSN chatting. to kill time.

Opera browser has an option to turn of images.

I find it pretty useful for low resource websites, I have even surfed lowyat forum with it, all good albeit a bit slow.

On side note, I am using Ezflash 3 in 1 expansion pak which gives 8MB more RAM memory than the original ram pak.

You mean Nintendo format?

.dpg video files?

Yeah, use SUPER© to convert, convert virtually almost everything lolz.

The thing that doesn't get me, what is the resolution of widescreen?

widescreen video looks so =O on the DS full screen

so far the best homebrew browser is from dsorganize. the only problem is that it hangs on certain pages and takes time to load pages with many pages.

LYN loads well and fast as well.

The widescreen aspect ratio is 16:9, so to get widescreen resolution on the DS's 256x192 resolution would be:

256 divided by 16 = 16
16 multiplied by 9 = 144

Therefore, the widescreen resolution for the DS is 256x144.

Among all web browsers, Bunjalloo's the best one for me for quick browsing, where as I'd use the Nintendo DS browser if I want to see more eye-candy. DSOrganise's web browser is quite solid over Bunjalloo though.

So does that mean that the EZFlash 3-in-1 has a total of 16MB RAM inside? Also, I remember correctly although you can use third-party RAM expansion paks, it doesn't mean that the DS Browser will utilize all the extra memory from your third party pak. Only 8MB will be used, no more than that.

I am too poor to buy a laptop for showing off, so I post this using the Nintendo DS Browser instead. tongue.gif

I can load all images in the forum without problem except those uber wallpaper sized images which takes forever to load (but still possible).
