Just got a Cookie a couple of days ago. A few questions:

- What is ATMT?
- And for those who already flashed their Cookie with the latest firmware, does all your contacts gone (including settings, files in memory card, etc)?
- What is the latest official firmware flashed by Zitron? Mine still KP500AT_v10c

- ATNT = no idea?
- Memory card remains unchanged, only phone memory will be erased --> contacts etc..

- current firmware by LG service Center = KP500AT_v10c rev.+25..

This is all from a fren who jus went to LG SC in Kelana Jaya early this week.

ATMT = anti-theft mobile tracking.. not "at the moment tatau"...

- If Seaedge's definition of ATMT is not what you want.. then it's how a friend of mine pronounce AT&T (mobile phone provider in USA).

- I upgraded from the 2nd previous firmware to the one you have now, files doesn't change, SIM card doesn't change , but settings got change.. I needed to change ringtone, message alert and Widget/Speed Dial wallpapers anyway.

-There's the D version already..

how much is this phone now? ap and ori..

any general problems with this phone?

how is the battery usage ?
is it easy to type ? sensitive or not ?

i'd problem with my cookie.. nothing serious just a bit slow & the gallery was messed up. brought it to the service center to reinstall new software, but they don't have the latest, just reinstall the V10c firmware. no help at all.

i found this 1 forum that teaches u how to update to V10n... btw can i put a link here?? try www.mylgcookie.com u can find where to dnload firmware & instruction as well. i flashed mine, much better!

but make sure to do backup in your memory card before flashing...

i was reading and i came across 1 user that mentioned that his or her lg cookie's alarm does not work..is this true?i want to know as i use my phone as my alarm...

and guys btw im waiting for the brown n red cookie as its run out of stock in malaysia..can u beleive it ive been waiting for almost 2 wekks now..sigh they dont even have the date itl be coming in..

Yes, that's the one. What does Anti-Theft Mobile Tracking (ATMT) in Cookie is for?

I notice Cookie has a Contact backup/restore feature. Does that mean I can backup my Contacts into the memory card and then restore it back into Cookie (after upgrading the firmware)? Anyone tried the Contacts backup/restore feature yet?

Any LG service center in Kuching?

no worry....my cookies already 1 month old, and the alarm is juz superb...for the user u mentioned that his/her phone alarm not working, i guess probably he set the wrong date for the alarm, u can even set more than 4 alarms at once and the volume was superb, even my next door can listen my alarm..

for anti-theft mobile tracking the function is if someone stole your phone and he putting his sim card on your lost phone, a sms will be send to those people u have already save their contact on atmt system. example i save my mum and dad contact on the atmt... and one day my phone got stolen.. the guy who found my phone if he put his sim card on my phone a sms or text will be send to my dad and my mum telling that i have lost my phone and in the same time the guy number, location blah, blah , blah.. etc. before u proceed to use the atmt save those sim card number that u always put into your cookies. example for me i have 3 number, so i save all the 3 number so when i change my sim card the atmt will not send any text or sms to my mum or dad since the phone recognize the number.

sorry to say but if im not mistaken there is no lg service center in kuching.

am planning to get a silver cookie....

was wondering if the silver paint wear off after a while???....

or is it more save to go for the black color, so that the paint wun wear off?

nway do i have to attach the screen protector that comes in the box?bcoz i can see that theres already 1 layer that is attched to the phone..so im confusedd..

wat color did u get?...

no u dont need to attach ANOTHER screen protector.
that one is extra.
there was a screen protector attached with the phone already. (u dont want to double it dont u?)

i juz bought my lg cookie yesterday..i'm loving it..bought it with RM800 without mmc and gonna buy 4gb mmc later on..

btw my lg cookie software version is KP500AT_V10c ..how to check the v10.** sumthing like that?

do i need to flash up my fimware?

it is possible if u wan to flash ur firmware manually or u send it to the LG Service Center for them to flash for you (i not sure whether flashing by urself will void the warranty from zitron), but the latest version of firmware v10n seems still unstable..quite alot of glitches, if u find no problem bout ur phone, my opinion better don upgrade it...

P/S: i still using v10c and working perfectly =)
