Hi city owner here,i going to graduate soon and now driving waja 4g18p,planning to buy city 08 vtec since dont want waste so much money on car and i like this facelift city more than NHC.lol dont know is an excuses
or not..just wana get opinions from you guys what is the price range for city year 08 vtec and above?

Any pros and cons?i heard that this bach is quit famous on gearbox problem,right?hope to get some information here..

And also which websitea can search for used honda city ya?thanks

City year 08 vtec gearbox is very stable dy.
Provided u change gear oil max interval at every 20,000km.
Mine drove for 120,000km dy, with every gear oil changing interval at 15,000km.
Gear box still perform very well.

Oh..city is using what atf ya?dexron?

and btw what is the FC of city vtec 08?because this is also the main concern for me..hehe

normally how much is the price range for that city?some people may say not really worth to get because topup a little bit can get NHC already..= =

FC wise, full tank can last u from 400-500km, depends ur right foot, VTEC City.
No worry, it may not be the best FC car, but consider not bad among the same range.

was wondering how much difference in HP of idsi and vtec model..because idsi more save than vtec right?Any difference between them except for the power?

i don't favour on NHC too..

u can search in www.carlist.my & www.mudah.my
from my experience, mudah price is lower than carlist..
city vtec 08 around +-rm70K (from mudah.my)
just make sure u use CVTF (strictly not ATF), the gearbox will be alright..my idsi has reached 102k and it's fine
idsi is 88bhp, vtec is 110bhp. if u wan performance then go for vtec, if u wan fuel efficient then idsi
generally idsi & vtec differ in term of engine,slight different in interior, rim design (but size is the same)

my waja is auto..hehe but actually i think waja 4g18 is good enough d,just in-term of the look i more prefer honda city 08..hehe because i like to mod bodykits,just waja not really suit so didn't mod bodykit..^ ^

Any way to check if buy from car dealer? how to check if they using correct gearbox oil since 1st service and not atf ler??

Since u drove Waja 4G18 before, then u better get a VTEC City.
Else later u will complaint that the IDSI City can't give u sufficient power on the road.  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
