raya balik kampung time last week, 1st time for my city to go long distance.
push until 160 still feel solid. hehe. cruising up hill (after Jelapang Toll) is a breeze using manual 7 speed mode. but cannot go more, loaded with luggage and 4 ppl inside. plus, a lot of traffic. FC wise: from KL to Bkt Mertajam slightly more than 1/2 tank.. This post has been edited by apisgogo: Oct 8 2008, 02:02 PM |

all hammering new city
haiz, just renew my road tax and insurance, for the 1st time. gone 1.8k (plus windscreen insurance), got 25% NCB. saw the market price on the insurance note, around 73k. 1 year 10k gone. but after a year, it reduces not really deep. saw 2-3 yrs city can go for 50-60k already. lately my city performance suffers a bit drop. Esp. on acceleration. its like i have to push a bit more to get the torque. (non like b4).
and i noticed FC also effected. before i can easily clock 15km/l, now only 13.7km/l also, rpm drop lower when i release the pedal. any idea why? my 35k service is coming. what should i ask the SA? lastly, previously, i always send my city to angkasa motor at jln ipoh. can i change sc? QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Mar 4 2009, 10:01 PM) Sure u can change sc but jes remember that the new sc wont have ur record. FYI, all the Honda sc does not link up. Means wat u done in Angkasa, other sc wont know wat u already did. thanks for the info If u felt something different, maybe it was the ECU learning your driving habit. Normally if u drive normal say average speed of 60-70 like me, the performance will be a little sluggish. I recommend you to reset ECU and remember to recalibrate ur CVT too. ECU resetting & CVT calibration within warranty or have to fork up? |

Sent my city to service just now (normal service, 35k). The service personnel there recommend me to use semi-sync oil (top-up RM21). He said its better and can feel a bit difference. true?
gonna pick-up my car later during lunch time. |
