QUOTE(redevil @ Sep 7 2010, 11:17 AM) I am using Honda City IDSI 2008 . no, service only when not cold. highest failure is with the electric clutch on the compressor.I would like to know how frequent should I service my air cond? Added on September 11, 2010, 5:10 pm QUOTE(ssyy @ Aug 31 2010, 12:25 AM) hi, im using 2007 honda city idsi. my car is totally stock since new. i need some suggestions to improve da handling cuz sometimes i lost control since da steering is very light n my car is very tall too.. someone asked me to switch to wider tyres.. juz wanna know how far tis helps? tq.. buy the most expensive tyre you can afford and get a 'gewd' alignment dial in some negative camber in the front. then go for a drive again. no point going for those 'race' suspension have you seen the top shock mount ? its sitting on two gigantic pieces of rubber. they upgraded the suspension in between models. so ask 'them' about it. upgraded dampers, suspension mounts and anti roll bar bush among other things. till today...i never service my air cond yet...already 65k km....
but it's up to you .... this is like a preventive maintainance kind of thing...so maybe you service more often...you won't have problems with ur aircond in many years to come... but among all stuff...air cond is the least likely people will service..... QUOTE(jinyee80 @ Sep 22 2010, 09:31 PM) jinyee80look near your driver's side door, on the body. normally there's some kinda sticker about tyre pressure guide with tyre size. that's your standard tyre size. i'm no expert, and i also don't remember the standard tyre, but i think it's 185/55r15. in laymen terms 185 is the width, 55 is the measurement from rim to the ground while 15 is basically your rim size. what i know, you don't simply change any size you like. there's some sorta tyre/rim calculator to get a proper upgrade to change rim size etc. else it will impact badly on your safety. also note that your speedometer was set to standard rims and tyres, once you change, the speedometer shown is off from real speed. google it up. tyre calculator -> http://www.paspeedo.com/calculator.htm QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Sep 27 2010, 01:19 AM) hehe.. not team city thread. just friends of the City in LYN. last time i checked, the other thread on Honday City (in LYN) only discuss about NHC. others are shot down if post questions about other gens. but this thread right here, is kinda slow. |
