@neato4u, steering screw near the steering neck? brows.gif Then later all of us can adjust by ourselves. The freeplay, have no idea what is that. Adjusting the steering also affecting the absorber too,it's too deep for me. rclxub.gif What is the root cause of steering stuck?

i understand julnoel sweat.gif u just got the car and yet so many things to repair and pay..  haih.. just one thing, if you drive slow but no noise, then still ok. But if cruising and got that sound, it's time to change already.

My bro told me if dun repair that ball bearing you risk your tyre 'tercabut' one during turn

yakah raymond? scary man.. and yeah, tyres is the one that we should take care the most. Dun mind about the body dent here there nor not wash or have bird droppings that stick for a year until got fungus or whatever..

it's the tyres that we ride on, not the car. So any stuffs which holds it need to be properly taken care too...

Let me see if I got time to check with my fav workshop later today and ask the boss about it - if he got advice i'll post it here smile.gif

how the incident happened with the perdana raymond? u saw it with your own eyes?
*
Yeah neato4u, i saw it with my own in Penang. First time i saw that car broke down in the middle of a village road into Balik Pulau. Guess what, the break down created a few km long jam for those who was going to Balik Pulau. 2nd time was i saw on a main road, that was pretty lucky as the road has a few lanes so there was no jam created. The right wheel of both cars were totally torn out and the cars were laid down 45 degree angle in the front of their right wheels. sweat.gif From that time i have a bad mind that Proton cars are not safety at all.

Proton = Tin Milo
Tin Milo = Not safe
Therefore Proton = Not safe

Not to mention the deep corruption.
Buy Perodua if u want to support national car manufacturer.

Proton sux.
My bro got his Gen 2 CPS hi line.
withing a week, 1 of the rear door stuck jammed shakehead.gif
My dad regrets it. Never to buy a Proton ever again.

Scary, air bag sensor lights up means something wrong with the car system. Go for a service checking. D driving mode flashing for a few seconds also is advice to go SC for checking. The sensor wire inside problem ?

@neato4u, so nice that you are staying near that area. I hope i am staying near to you too,can hang out together. SC price is usually 2-3x more expensive than outside service, someone will still prefer to go SC.

zzzzzzz.... very quiet.

Went to kedah the other day. Max speed update was 180+km/h , was tailing a Rexton.

Can go faster i think but scared aldy bcoz got passenger inside car sweat.gif
*
That's fast man, 180km/h on VTEC..Not bad though. Your engine rev. until 6k rpm? Rexton is a monster on the road, don't play play. I tried to tail a Vios before with 160+km/h...The car just can't get off in front of me although.Haha.

I'm also going to change my tyres already,i planning to change to Michelin Energy XM1 with size 185/60/R14. The best price quoted to me is RM170 per piece with alignment and valves done on 4 tyres.

Don't use Honda original break pads, they are still a lot of choices for you. The popular one would be Bendix,i changed mine to Nissin breakpads about 5 months ago,can feel it's better than the original one from Honda.
