Scary, air bag sensor lights up means something wrong with the car system. Go for a service checking. D driving mode flashing for a few seconds also is advice to go SC for checking. The sensor wire inside problem ?
*
the only way i can justify what happened is that...if its some kind of warning system :/ why would it have only flashed for like 1 to 2 seconds? lol..

thats like quite a dumb warning system? no? and yes i am in denial. i do not wish my car to be problematic. t_T

today so far i drove okay,no flashing whatsoever...

so i guess its just..my hesitation to change from Neutral to D lah. smile.gif but if anyone has experienced, do ahre

Yalor, it's Friday ma.. laugh.gif
Vios CAN tapau City, but not easily. I own an IDSI and my friend drove a Vios (auto), i can say both are in the same range, both of us floored and seems City have the pickup from start (0-60) which leads the Vios, but then Vios catches up and matched side to side. If VTEC City I think can tapau Vios but not easily oso lor.
No, I got other plans with my family brows.gif Family outing tomolo.
Ala kesiannya, sekolah good wat. See us working some dun learn anything new oso. Learning oso doesn't involve great preassure like when you have at office. Enjoy it while you can! laugh.gif ey thanks for dropping by my blog tongue.gif hehehe

Ah.. yesterday I bought my son to cut his hair... saw his face like sad one when driving there.. i felt something not good already sweat.gif then arrived he can't stop crying but we kinda force to cut his hair anyway... which resulted in a minor accident and the guy there completely balded his hair behind  and i was too late to stop him from repairing which resulted in more baldness from behind cry.gif cry.gif me n my wife were both totally sad and somewhat learnt our lesson not to force him to cut hair anymore.

Next time I WILL CUT HIS HAIR MYSELF, dun care how the result is, at least I wont make him bald

later post his pic on his blog..

haha why do u thank ppl for visiting ur blog tongue.gif not like it involved any money or whatever on my part..

awwwwwww..kesiannnnnn..haha..cut urself la..now he still small he wont mind..can practice from now

Hi, I'm planning to get city idsi year 2005 after comparing it with myvi se. i wonder if there is any problems with it cvt gearbox?

i read it somewhere saying it cost over 20k to repair the gearbox, and gearbox "kong" when he drive uphill to genting? 0.o

I asked my friend who own 2.0 civic, and jazz, and yes, he said indeed idsi gearbox got problems.

Since this is city club, i would like to ask city 2005 owner any major problems in their idsi gearbox? =)

And "dont" rules to maintain gearbox in good condition? I'm manual car driver, so when it come to semi auto like city, i really not sure how which i should not do and so =)
*
the gearbox gives me sleepless nights sometimes ):

but as someone once said

the gearbox was never meant to spoil so easily smile.gif if it did then you wouldnt see honda citys on the road today

smile.gif

and i think the prob was mostly with the 03 batch smile.gif also due to the wrong transmission fluid used.

i guess with regular maintenance (changing of oil frequently) and um not pushin the car too much. things shld be fine

of cos we shall let the other sifus here answer yes

the taman tun one i went to was quite okay but according to what i heard the one in town (some jalan with a cina name) is good as well? smile.gif most of them r good lah hahaha dont go to those dodgy scary ones

today i did my servicing as well ):

600 bucks x_x

changed the engine oil
cvtf
and brake pads
and they made me do balancing and allignment (i dont know for fun or what)

._.

and hor..how come ah..the last time i went for service they changed my engine oil to semi syn. now its mineral one.
will it be ok? ):

i noticed after service my car seems to take longer to start up. last time was a short turn of the key, now its a bit longer and like lower rumble.

oh and 11 dollars for a bulb. AMAZING tongue.gif could have got it done for what..5 bucks hahaha

Hey guys..experiencing a problem ):

I was driving like normal, stopped after the toll, was moving on..

Hitting about 2k rpm, going about 60km?

Then suddenly I felt a pull/jerk, just once, like really feel-able..before I could go on again

Whats the issue ):

After that I tried again, no problem on the way back...

But then it happened again ):

the only thing i recall is tht it happens between 2k to 3k rpm, and its a jerk movement, like a one time pull..i dunno how to describe le ):

dun wanna go to the sc without knowing much..enlighten pls!

Hi All,

Haha.... feel so outdated since haven't been visiting this forum for quite some time.

Anyone got good mechanic around Old Klang Road?  Cause going for 80K service, else will need to send back to Honda SC....  sad.gif
julnoel: I will normally feel the jerking when i put it into reverse gear, been complaining to SC everytime but none of them was able to detect the reason of the jerking.  doh.gif  Sorry that I couldn't be of much help here.

Maybe the sifus are able to give a hand  smile.gif
*
I feel the reverse jerking too, normally I ignore it and just press the accelerator then it goes away. I think?

This time the jerking is different, it happens WHILE i am driving on the road, accelerating at around 2k-3k rpm and its a ONE TIME jerk only, like a quick pull before I can accelerate like normal.

Is the jerking normal on our cars?
*
The reverse? DOnt know? lol..sometimes it bothers me cos its a bit embarassing HAHAHA but dun care lah tongue.gif

I notice it happens when I'm reversing on flat ground, say I'm reversing out of my house and there's a slope then it doesnt happen. It almost feels like when you drive a manual car (i've only during my driving test) and u din press enuf of the accelerator :/

Anyone has any explanation for my car one time jerk/pull back during acceleration at abt 2k-3k rpm?

Choking is more suitable with the situations,i feel the chokes too sometimes.
*
but I only noticed mine happening like a few days back ):

Some have said bad oil filter, bad gas etc etc, leaking cvtf..

i changed my ron95 to 97 today..and i noticed thrs a liquid on the floor in the morning but its water lar so i dun think its the cvtf leaking ):

and really, whats a choking? it feels like it..like the engine gasping for air before it continues, like a quick jerk ):

I also don't know how to descripe here, the car sometimes really does not smooth while pick up. The liquid on the floor is water and it is aircond water only.Be make yourself frightened. laugh.gif
*
Yeah exactly I don't know how to describe it and it doesnt happen ALWAYS so I dont want to send it to the SC and have them tell me its tranny problem and I have to change everything and pay them 27k or whatever like that ):

I was hoping someone here knows what the problem is T_T

and yeah okay wont scare myself hahaha biggrin.gif

ps: the "jerk/choking/slip" happens only when im accelerating gradually at abt 2.5k rpm. If i accelerate hard it jumps straight to 3k and doesnt experience the "jerk/choking/slip". ): It happens when I take a corner then want to accelerate, say I was goin down the corner quite fast and the rpm is already at like 2k or 1.5k, then I hit the accelerator to go faster then it jerks one time. Its quite a bad jerk actually, can feel it and you actually go frontwards
