Near a tree lor. Ingat wan to get some shade. Mana tau the ant come maching in. Sien sien.... -__-

i got an ant's nest in my car
the stupid ant queen hiding in the back seat belt buckle.
the first week i was damn weird why inside the car got so many ants.
then it got worse when i saw a row of ants marching to the engine area.
then i search the whole car and saw ANTS coming out from the seat belt buckle.
shieldtex and saw the queen came out (bigger size than normal ants), and no more ants problem.

wat is the issue regarding ah ? my car got this sound lately..

another thing i found out is...my petrol consumption is worse. any idea?

my car got this aeroplane sound.
speed until 100km/h, off the radio, let go the paddle, and can hear the sound clearly.
brought this up to the SC, they said it's normal.
and i knew some city doesn;t have this sound.

That sound is normal for CT.. from the 1st batch until now.. it still have that sound.. the only different is did u notice it or not only.
this issue discussed before at Teamcity forum before remain unsolve because of that is engineering problem from Honda.. it not harming ur engine or gearbox. create that kind of sound only.. louder ur radio will resovle it

i find the idsi to be super fuel efficient

i filled up full tank the other day, about RM 63 i think

My usual journey is about 50km a day

So far I've had 5 days of class, which is abt 250km +-

And my tank only finished by half biggrin.gif

When I was drivin my satria, 50 bucks would have left me with 1/4 tank by now..

hehehehhee

So I get a 1km/0.12cents only biggrin.gif

As what scottkiller said, the aeroplane sound is normal and had been discussed before in previous versions of this thread, kindly perform a search to avoid embarassmant. thx laugh.gif

oh julnoel , city fuel indicator.. it's very slow to drop from full to half.. but from half to empty it drops fast. Maybe because of the tank position.

If you didn't floor or drive the car um... how to say.. really careful laugh.gif then you should have better mileage.

My record was 600km for full tank i think... but now full tank can only last for 450 - 500km. I really floor a lot and there was once even a beamer lost to the legendary City brows.gif so I am happy enough with my mileage laugh.gif

My friend just bought a new set of rims.. sweat.gif As for me, i'm still waiting for more $$$ to mod my car sweat.gif you should have a look at teamcity, they mod kaw-kaw over there..

Maybe can go for Kit or Magic 101 wax? Suggest you to do a polish first then go for wax.

yea pilot, it's never too late.. just go and polish / wax lor.. if you afraid it's going to be expensive, DIY! although one done at shop better because they use machine.

thx julnoel laugh.gif i took him out to the playground but when arrived he refused and want to drive the car pulak sweat.gif so ended up doing a photoshoot instead brows.gif

my side mirror (driver side) not fully working either. Happens after a car wash (darn) i think they push it too much then can only tilt to the inside not outside (up and down no problem), so if i want to tilt outside need to push using finger.. tongue.gif but really minor damage only.. so i just left it alone because usually it's not noticable.

get a new one lorr.. those comes with LED i think rm 200 a pair brows.gif

always mod when there's something to fix laugh.gif haha

Hi everyone, my City Idsi 4G is nearing the 80,000 km mark soon. Any ideas on how to minimise the service cost? I heard that it would be about RM600 sweat.gif . Really need your help guys. Thanks a lot.

Mine is VTEC 2005. Already over 110k on odometer. Service charge, including labour and parts, most expensive i can remember is below RM400, never exceed that amount. May be the charges vary depend on the service center.

However, i already gave my CT to my wife. Now driving something "extra" from previos CT, Triton 2.5 Manual..Syiok woooo..

Our CT only got one belt and we call it as fan belt. Ori belt is Misuboshi. Go get Bando belt instead. It cost about Rm80 outside. Model is 5PK 1145.

confirmed - honda city 3g (2003) have electronic assisted braking system.

I've tried this yesterday on a downhill road. You should try this too and confirm.

Preparation : Make sure road is hilly enough so when you put the car in N, it will roll down slowly.

1. Turn on engine, switch gear to N
2. Pull handbrake
3. Turn off engine while gear in N, press brake a few times
4. Switch gear to R, press brake a few times
5. Switch gear to N
6. Release handbrake
7. Press brake pedal

You should feel brake power is 1/10 and you need more force to stop the car.

Pull handbrake to stop the car.

Start the car, and you will feel the difference.
