anywhere to fix scratched windscreen? Mine is scratched... so far shops  I've been only want to replace the entire windscreen, not repair. It's not major scratch but small scratches which u can't put your nail to feel. Unfortunaltely the radius  is big so that's why i need repairing. bought some windscreen polish (t-cut) it works but i can still see the scratches when it glares (sun shining or bright lght passing by).

Hey neato,

How have you been? biggrin.gif

I have a chipped at the front windscreen (not sure is it kena batu or what). Anyway, I've checked with some friends and they say the safest is still to change a new windscreen. Cause scared later the screen will suddenly break....

But because it's going to cost a bomb to change it, I'm still letting it be until can find cheaper one. sweat.gif

i asked a doktor cermin shop once, the chip can only be fixed only if you don't leave the chip too long. else, if dirt gets into the chip - cannot be fixed properly.

Die like that. Mine has been like almost 1 year already. cry.gif

my windscreen kena batu before and chip like about the size of 5cents coin...can repair...they use some tool and slowly pressed some sort of liquid into the chip area and surprisingly, the chip hole reduce to  very small size only.... cost about RM80...if u guys from penang...can do it at mainland at Megamall there..one shop called Speedy if i can remember correctly...

Added on March 20, 2010, 6:35 pmoh btw...the shop guarantee that the windscreen strength is like original..just that there will be a small mark dot on the chip area...can't totally make it look like new...

Hi Guys,

Just to relook into the City choking/jerking problem when driving at low speed (as though the gearbox doesn't know when to change to the next gear, and will suddenly change)..

I've browsed through the forum but has anyone managed to solve the problem?..  Today I went to SC and they told me my gearbox oil is very dark even though I've changed it at 80k major service.. now only 90k..  sad.gif

Yeah, do occasionally have that problem but still ok for me cause not happening frequently.

I'm still having the same problem when reversing where the car would jerk when putting at reverse gear. Mentioned a few times to the SC but they have yet to solve the problem. Have been following advise from fellow forumer, Neato to wait awhile after putting to reverse gear & start reversing.

Does anyone heard this sound (loud "KLAK") when pulling the handbrake and releasing the brake when parking? I can't hear when in the car but if you're standing outside the car, you can hear it quite clearly. Not sure if something broke or what? rclxub.gif

Hi All,

Just sent my car for 95K service at SC last Friday, changed the back wheel bearing since konk already. Cost around RM412 per piece & after discount is RM350 per piece.

Paid around RM690 for the servicing and changing for the bearing. sweat.gif

Hi,

Want to get some advice from sifus here. Went for service at the SC recently and was advised to change the spark plugs for the next service. Was thinking of changing to the normal honda spark plugs only but the guy was asking to change to the Iridium one.

Anyone using the Iridium spark plug already? Wish to know if there is any difference between using Iridium and normal honda version. Price difference also quite a lot. Please advice. notworthy.gif

the recommended one and originally used is the Iridium type lor...
but the iridium spark plugs can last you 100k....

my city already reaching 80k...never change spark plug before..so i guess the 100k lifespan is true...

why wanna change to normal spark plug? maybe you can share with us here...

The standard spark plugs has lasted quite well for me o. (Pic attached)

Mainly it's because of the price also. Think I was quoted around RM800/++ to change all. Can't remember if this is the exact price cause last service was back in end April.

The original has last me for around 5 years+. Think it was pretty good. sweat.gif

Welcome BryantNg. Can't help you much as not an expert on tyres.

Perhaps other sifus could advise. smile.gif
