  how is the realiablity of the Car ? is there any so called any well known problems ? also I heard that parts are kinda expensixe?

haha.. maybe i was exaggerating a lot, but the point was it cost a hole in my pocket when combined with engine oil change plus parts and labor. which brings me the question, as posted by our friend - do we to have change the gearbox oil every 5000km ?

i went to cobra sc in TTDI today.. got myself the remote casing for just RM20. i also bought 2 extra rubber sticks, RM1/pc.  i'm so happy!

If you're taking a large sum of loan, it's better to get a new car as the 2nd-hand car loan interest will already be more than the drop in price.

tested on the way back home jst now. in s mode, it can rev up to 3k, and rev to any number if im using 7 speed mode, still, when im floor in D mode @2k rpm, it will straight going up to 3k rpm and stay there tho..  what i wanted the car to perform when i floor in D mode, it rev to 4k rpm, but seems it refusing to rev that high, but only to 3k.

Seems like vtec running at 2k rpm and directly can hit to 4k rpm when you floor the pedal eh?

of course, i still can going up more than 3k rpm slowly. i jst wonder if idsi is designed to rev to 3k rpm only when you floor in D mode, and slowly revving up?  hope idsi owners may give me some advice. Other than that, frequent engaging S / D / N will damage GB? I wish i can afford to convert to manual tranny :|

Have a look at the warranty booklet..it tell u to go every 3 mth or 5000km whichever come 1st,  the website say 6 mths or 5000km which ever come 1st.......try talk to their toll free line....they will make u vomit blood by telling u malaysia is more severe than severe condition....regret buying honda...

I tested the car again last week sunday. I'm not sure if the steps i taken from website to reset the ecu solve this or maybe because the style i floor in the pedal. driven over 700km in 4days still cant find the reason why only rev 3k rpm when i floor the pedal.

I try reset the ecu (not sure if its actually succeed to reset it), and tested and found it can rev easily to 4k-5k =) i floor the pedal fast instead of flooring the pedal with "normal fast" speed. oh well.. kinda not get used to drive auto yet. its my first time to own foreign car =]

Anyways, after sunday, im enjoying to drive this car even though its not vtec =)

By the ways, a seller informed me to use CVT oil for the gearbox but not ATF-Z1 oil? Now, which oil is suitable for CVT? I remember is ATF-Z1 right?

But when I sent my car for service the other day, the Sc fella who drove it around was revving it like nothing, I didnt notice if it did hit over 3k rpm or not but he didnt say anything so shld be okay??

And that memory reset thing, does it rly work? seems fairly simple to do

Raymond, unfortunately not yet! My steering issue ('bite') is coming back and I've re-tighten the screw as I can't stand the 'kluk-kluk' noise coming from the rack anymore.

Got a cheap quote from a guy who sells recond steering rack (cost less than 1k) but my wife is a bit worried about using recond stuffs. Right now looking for new but cheap part to replace the steering rack.

Anyone knows where? SC quoted me near to 4k which is ridiculous

ray, u changed your pulley and clutch? mind me asking what clutch is this? gear clutch?  How much does that cost,

Warranty u mean for the recon set? not sure, didn't ask during that time I just asked for the price. I heard if you buy new one @ SC will give you 6 months warranty.

has anyone put denso iridium spark plugs on their I-DSI 2003 city b4 here?
