Hi girl,
Vintage fashion are popular right now. You can try this link:http://www.tonguechic.com/articles/387-Vintage-Love-Affair. I also saw many plus size girls wearing them on their fashion blog. For short hair, you can play around with your hair using a vintage-like headband. Best of all you can always ask the vintage shop owner how to dress retro. You can always get help from friends on make up. Or go buy some fashion mags like Cleo and Female on make up tips Oh yes, this site got plus size clothes:http://www.axteqs.blogspot.com/ This post has been edited by viviensiu: Sep 30 2008, 05:16 PM |

Don't give up.
Because you are not used to it, so feel awkward. Try more, see more, than you could find one style which is suitable & comfortable for yourself. Actually to be a lady, does not mean that must be very feminine. Could be others style as well. In my house, got three style: . Feminine: dress, hair band, skirt... . Girl: Jeans, mini T-shirt, simple & plain skirt... . Boyish: Jeans, sport wears & shoes... We support you. You will find your style. Don't force yourself to wear somethings tha you are not comfortable. Be happy & confident. Maybe you could buy some magazine & get some reference. We support you, babe. You are open this topic, it means that you are willing to change. Trsut that you will find it soon... |

jia you!
or maybe u should change to a lady like girl now instead being a tomboy? just my opinion. if ur budget is not really low, maybe u can try going to dorothy perkins? they have slightly bigger sizes for bigger size ladies. dont forget to put on a make up too! dont over do of course. a light make up will do. and some acessories like necklace/bracelet is quite nice. as for bag, its nice for a lady to hold a clutch good luck! |

i think that if you are a tomboy at heart, then embrace it! x)
if they want you to wear a dress, then go ahead. but keep it simple. because when you dress, you should never ever feel like another person. So skip the make up, wear some flat sandals (or sneakers, very lily allen to wear sneakers + dress), and most importantly wear a big smile; for you are most beautiful when you are comfortable and confident |

I have a few necklace and bracelet with me so I think it wouldnt be a problem. But for clutch, i think i better dump my wallet and hp into my mum's handbag than bringing another one (afraid that i might forgot that i brought a clutch...lol)or maybe u should change to a lady like girl now instead being a tomboy? just my opinion. if ur budget is not really low, maybe u can try going to dorothy perkins? they have slightly bigger sizes for bigger size ladies. dont forget to put on a make up too! dont over do of course. a light make up will do. and some acessories like necklace/bracelet is quite nice. as for bag, its nice for a lady to hold a clutch good luck!
