i didnt use b4.. but, from what i think is USELESS...
all we need is 3G Simcard which is i think 128k.. other thing, better we save at phone rather on sim card? sim card lost is totally lost.. while phone u still can automatically backup to pc everyday.. |

if u are using the old phone like 8310,8250,3310 then maybe got use because the sms and contact storage depends on the simcard size.

seem useless no matter u put it even up to 1gb, cause nowadays phone users depend on the phone more than the sim card.
well its just my point of view =) |

Well in my opinion, I look at these new simcards as new upgrades featuring better sim toolkit apps and better security. Its not like we utilize the 256k of storage for countless phone number storing. We rely on phone memory now. Better contact management. As for backup, we can always sync with a PC. So 256K is not a compulsory thing.

well......put it this way.....if u have a choice of 128 vs 256 and they're giving it for free......go for the 256.......doesnt hurt rite?
but if u have 128 or 64k and u think that should upgrade by paying 30-50 ringgit.....then i guess dont bother... |

i thought with the 256 sim card more info can be stored by the operator, for example, maxis extra services which comes up as another menu. easy access?

is it has anything to do with simcard size if the sim contact cannot be opened by certain handphones?

Just more sms and phone book storage.
But if you are using 3G, 128k sim card is a must, if you use 64k sim card, sure lag like hell. |
