I'm thinking to get 1 set of gaming speakers for my xb0x360 console. Is there any specific type of speakers for xbox360? or is there any gaming speakers for game console?

Thnx but how about connecting the speakers to the xbox console? I was thinking of buying those PC speakers. What are the tricks / technique to connect those PC speakers to the console?

u just need 2 buy an adapter for the sound tat can convert ur rca cable to pc speaker...

the adapter very cheap only...
if not wrong around rm10-rm20 only...

Actually it's quite a waste to go stereo rather than surround if you have the money spend..I myself don't, so have to settle for stereo

the cable cost around rm5-10.depends on which shop u go.
for a surrond sound, u may need to checkout a thred at console couch.we're discussing cheapest way to get a surround sound. but at last.. not really cheap.. around rm450.

i just use my old sonic gear blue thunder 2.1 to play and it still sounds great

5.1 speakers system doesnt work on console without a DTS/AC3 decoder which supports optical/coxial input. Not all console games support 5.1 channels system and the true 5.1 sound system cost RM1K+

Oh..ic. Thnx for the info. So it's no point getting a 5.1 system speakers. I tot i can get that for my xbox.

go and browse the other thread at console couch. there's a solution to get 5.1 true surround sound within ur budget.

im using Z2300 from logitech....currently is satisfy with the quality...
they have a solid bass and most important is THX certified too....

Or you can try mx5012 from altech lansing....

or klipsch promedia 2.1.....

if you are toking bout rm600 budget la...

FYI, klipsch promedia 2.1 sold about 399RM at CZone... I got mine at 380RM(thru bargaining). Btw, the woofer is very HEAVY!!!

I never saw any console games which support THX.

thx supported speaker has better surround sound compared to those with none. btw, i don't think there's any diff if u were 2 use it without a audio decoder.
