today the silly problem comes back again

tested. problem only popup this afternoon while i try to connect to PC, i will exchange for grey steel tomorow . white kinda a easy get dirt.

Changing to grey steel? But u'r the first who have White Steel here ler..hehe. I think if u keep it and take care of it, wont get dirty easy..I have a pearl white samsung phone before, still clean and new after 1 1/2 use..

you can always use TMPGEnc. Its for newbie to professional.

I'm planning to get the E66. I'm using the 6680 now. Can i find out how do i transfer all my phonebook, sms/mms, pics, games, etc which is mostly in my memory card (old Mini SD, not newer Micro SD) to the new phone?

Btw, any recommended seller for Ori E66? Looking for one this weekend. Thanks.

1. transfer frm old memory card to new memory card; OR
2. Use PC Suite to do full backup, thn restore at new phone; OR
3. E66 has a very very good n useful "Switch" tool used to transfer contacts etc btwn compatible phones

Can try Sunway or Subang Parade..or get frm one of our forum sellers here..

hate the battery power of this phone. 2 days have to recharge. heavy usage is not recomendded. esspecially wehn using text msg, wifi and all... adoi. got any third party battery that will last longer?

ya..the battery is actually kinda a drawback..but charging once every 1-2 days is ok wit me. Dun think thr's any 3rd party apps for this, but future firmware may increase the battery life..

The looks is just amazing..I'm getting all kinds of attractions while attending meetings and appointments with my clients..especially the "flip to silent" feature; really amazed the others during meeting..wakaka

Do you know anyway I can transfer my sms and mms to my E66 from Ngage QD? I've lots of sms and mms from my GF on the ngage QD

Try use the feature "Switch". If it doesnt work, I believe you can transfer using PC Suite. Just synchronize with ur phone and transfer.

Use the Backup feature in PC Suite. Confirm can. Quoted from the PC Suite User Guide:

"Nokia Content Copier allows you to back up your phone's contents on a PC. You can back up the entire contents, or select what you want to back up. You can restore the contents to the same phone model from which the backup was originally made, or import the contents to another Nokia phone model.

the newest version of TMPGEnc is very powerfull. It could even convert to DIVX format not to mention mp4 too. Check it out and you would be amazed.

Though I'm now using the E71, am tempted to get the E66 as well.

Haha..which part of E66 tempts u? But ur E71 still very new wo..

Well, the fact that it has a normal keypad, and it has accelerometer which enables you to flip the phone into Silent mode when there's an incoming call.

Will not be selling the E71 if I do get the E66, instead will use it side by side.

Added on October 16, 2008, 1:52 pmold software might not be compatible that much as it is new OS. then for phonebook, i use MS Outlook to sync all contacts. for pics and music from old RS-MMC(6680 use rsmmc rather than miniSD) to MicroSD just use memory card reader enough lor.
